~ Adas |
Adas is an overarching character in the Star Wars franchise.
He was the King of Korriban and the Sith race in a reign which lasted nearly 300 years. He was unusually large for his species. His skin was a rare color of charcoal, and he was raised as a chosen being from his youth. Encasing himself in ebony armor, he wielded a massive battleaxe, and became a master of Sith magic. Circa 28,000 years before the Battle of Yavin, Adas united the disparate nations of Korriban in a series of bloody conflicts, eventually solidifying himself as the sole leader of his planet and his people. The Sith hailed Adas as the Sith'ari, or "Overlord". His people belived that he was immortal, and that his reign would last for eternity. In the later years of his reign, Rakata from the Infinite Empire arrived on Korriban, and taught Adas and his kingdom how to harness the technology of holocrons. Adas created one of these devices, but soon realized that the new arrivals were attempting to conquer Korriban. He took his battleaxe to the aliens, and with his people at his side, drove them off. In doing so, he lost his life.
Personality[]
Adas, revered as both a monarch and a god, was titled Sith'ari, or "the perfect being," a title believed to have been given by The Force according to legend. A formidable warrior and a respected yet strict ruler, his intimidating legacy endured for thousands of years. He exploited the weak, enslaved perceived fools, and executed idealists. His teachings, stored in a holocron, were only accessible to those he deemed worthy. Though initiates such as Novar were granted access to Adas's teachings, the Sith king's essence would threaten anyone who dared to fail him. When challenged by rival warriors, Adas would kill them and drink their bloodsoup, to honor their demise.
