Adel, Baron of Night, also known as the Gaping Jaw, is a major antagonist of Elden Ring Nightreign. It is a Nightlord in the form of a large dragon with a massive, crooked jaw and shredded wings. Wielding the power of lightning and an unquenched hunger, Adel seeks to devour everything in its path.
History[]
Adel was born in the Lands Between as a wonder in the world, being the massive apex predator of an island it once took residence on. It was then that the Night's Tide casted by the Nightlord rid all of Adel's prey, leaving it nothing for it to feast on.
Eventually, Adel was driven into pure madness and began feasting on everything it encounters, finding no end to its insatiable hunger.
