Adolf Hitler is the main protagonist of the Love, Death & Robots episode "Alternate Histories".

He was voiced by Dieter Jansen.

Biography[]

The episode is played as six different scenarios to depict what would happen to history if Adolf Hitler was to die in 1908, before his rise to power as a dictator.

First Scenario[]

Hitler is first seen bursting through the front door of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. While walking down the steps, he knocks into a Jewish boy, causing him to drop his artwork and fall flat-first onto the pavement. Enraged, Hitler launches into a hate-filled tirade, yanking at the boy's ear and smacking him in the face. Just then, two large muscular Jewish men appear from behind Hitler before he could smack the boy a second time.

Realizing that he was outmatched, Hitler tries to play innocence by letting the boy go and nervously patting him on the head. The boy then pulls out a switchblade from his pocket and stabs Hitler in the shin, causing him to scream like a girl. The two men promptly proceed to beat Hitler to death, with the boy joining in by playfully kicking him.

Second Scenario[]

The scene is initially played identical to the first one, only here Hitler avoids knocking into the boy. Hitler yells at the boy as he walks into the street to cross the road, only to be ran over by a run-away horse-drawn wagon filled with bratwurst. His mutilated body is left covered in sausages.

Third Scenario[]

Hitler narrowly avoids being ran over by the wagon when the boy pulls him back onto the sidewalk. He then makes his way over to a bench to write in his diary. A small bird lands and chirps in his ear, prompting Hitler to angrily scare it away by shaking his hand at it. Suddenly, a massive block of gelatin released as an experiment by the Soviet Russians crushes and suffocates him.

Fourth Scenario[]

While yelling at the bird, Hitler spots four Viennese prostitutes who invite him over, which he hastily accepts. The five get into an orgy, and Hitler literally fornicates to death.

Fifth Scenario[]

Hitler manages to avoid all of the previous obstacles that would have resulted in his death. As he is running towards the prostitutes, he is interrupted by a small meteor landing at his feet. Seeing a large shadow circling him, Hitler looks up to watch a meteor - a precursor to a giant meteor that would destroy the world - fall on top of him, crushing him into a pulp.

Sixth Scenario[]

In the sixth and final scenario, before the meteor could crush Hitler, he is rescued by a group of Nazis sent back in time to save him from a group of anti-Nazis. The two groups fire each other as Hitler avoids being in the crossfire. Just then, a soldier in a large red mech suit obliterates both teams with lasers from its palms. The suit opens its head up to reveal an elderly Hitler, who traveled back in time to save his younger self. Overjoyed, both Hitlers happily ran to touch each other's hand: the contact between the two causes a space-time paradox that wipes out all of existence.

Appearance[]

In the episode, Hitler is portrayed as a gangly figure with his trademark toothbrush moustache and haircut. He wears a green shirt with a black tie, and shorts that nearly go up to his thighs.

His future self has grey hair, a white moustache, and is inside a giant red mech suit.

Trivia[]

  • In reality, Hitler was never actually accepted into the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He applied for the university twice and was rejected both times.
  • The fourth scenario might have drawn inspiration from the rumor that Hitler only had one testicle.
