Adolf Hitler is the unseen overarching antagonist of the 1993 drama film Schindler's List. He was the leader of Nazi Germany and the main initiator of World War II. Although Amon Goeth was responsible for the terrifying murders of Jews in Krakow, Adolf Hitler was in charge of the existence of the Holocaust in general. Given this, he is indirectly responsible for most of the events that took place in the film.
Biography
Background
Given how the film itself is according to true events, Hitler is certainly what he really is. When he became Führer of Nazi Germany at the urging of Heinrich Himmler, he ordered the mass genocide against mainly Jews. His regime also appointed Amon Goeth as a high-ranking Reich officer.
Legacy
Even after his death, Amon Goeth continues to insist that Hitler was right even though Amon actually highlights as much more heinous than any other fictionalized Nazi ever.
