Adrian Toomes (Ultimate Spider-Man game)

Doctor Adrian Toomes is a major antagonist in the 2005 video game Ultimate Spider-Man.

He is Bolivar Trask's associate who first informs Bolivar Trask about the presence of the Venom suit.

He was voiced by Brian George, who also voiced Shocker in the same game, Miles Warren in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Duff Killigan in Kim Possible, Parasite in Justice League, Professor Pyg in Beware the Batman, Jazzman in Batman: The Animated Series, Gorilla Grodd in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Hector Barbossa in Kingdom Hearts, Oleg Petrovsky in Mass Effect 3 and Tazal in Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series.

Biography[]

He first appears in a store, watching Venom's fight with Peter Parker, he tells Bolivar Trask on the phone that he saw the Venom suit. He is later seen after Silver Sable captures Eddie Brock, introducing himself to Eddie, when Eddie mentions that the suit is too much for anyone to control, Toomes points out that it will kill him if they leave him in there alone.

Toomes is later seen asking Eddie questions about his connection to the suit and Spider-Man due to Venom being more focused on Spider-Man than Electro, Eddie tells him that when Spider-Man was there, he felt that the suit was under control, then Adrian says why would being an approximation to Spider-Man do that, then Eddie reveals Spider-Man's secret identity, this was all recorded, then Bolivar Trask and Adrian Toomes find out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, then Trask tells Toomes to get Brock to tell him everything.

Later on when Silver Sable gets all the information from Eddie, then later on captures Spider-Man and Venom once again for Trask, Spider-Man wakes up in a doctor's office, Toomes then asks Peter if he ever wore the Venom suit himself, Peter says that he did but only for a few hours, then Toomes says that it appears that the suit bonded itself to Peter, that it is amazing that he survived any encounter with Eddie Brock at all, then says that part of the suit that Peter still has wants to join with the suit Brock wears, and he wants to help them, then tells Peter that just in case it kills him, he wants to know that he thinks Richard Parker was a genius while injecting Peter with the Carnage symbiote, Peter then becomes Carnage, then knocks out Toomes.

It's unknown what happened to Toomes afterwards, either he woke up later and escaped, or died, or was taken to jail later.

Trivia[]

Unlike most versions of Adrian Toomes, this version never ends up becoming the Vulture.
