God is the overall main antagonist of the 2007 coming- of- age drama manga series Goodnight Punpun.
While he starts off as a helpful imaginary mentor figure to the protagonist, Punpun Onodera in the beginning of the series when Punpun is still a child, it is later revealed that he is the manifestation of Punpun’s dark thoughts.
Appearance[]
The most recognisable thing about God is his eerily realistic face that always stays in the same friendly wide smile only occasionally changing expressions. He has a black and white colour scheme, His face looks like someone around 20-30 years old and he wears rectangular glasses. Finally, the most recognisable part of his face is his large bushy afro.
While he is mostly depicted as a disembodied head, his body has been shown before a few times. He is always depicted as a completely naked man with a decent height while being slightly muscular.
