The Air Armada is a criminal aerial military in Rivals of Aether. The group was introduced as a stage on September 22nd, 2015, but was only expanded on with the game's story mode on March 28th, 2017.
Biography[]
Once, the Air Alliance was one, but following the Fire Kingdom burning down the Aetherian Forest, the winged citizens began to question the peaceful policies of the mountain-dwelling Elders. A rift formed between the Air citizens who could fly and those who could not. Soon the winged Air-dwellers built the Air Armada and declared war on the Fire Nation, leaving the Air Alliance in tatters.
Now, the Air Armada spends their time pillaging merchant transports and harassing Fire Empire outposts. The group has a close connection, and refuses to allow anyone but winged creatures into their ranks, no matter how skilled they may be otherwise.
On one occasion, the group stole goods from the WTC worth millions. Orcane was tasked with retrieving the goods, infiltrating their armada, where he encountered a strange scene, a mysterious shadow figure making a deal with the captain, exchanging the valuable WTC goods for a mere scroll, one which contained the weak points of every civilization in Aether.
However, Orcane was soon interrupted by Wrastor and Bradshaw, with Wrastor, ever the hot head, challenging the water creature to a fight, which Orcane promptly won before reclaiming the stolen goods and heading back to Merchant Port.

- Swiftwing- A captain of the Air Armada. Seemingly has a secret goal to destroy all civilizations in Aether.
- Wrastor - One of the top wingman in the Air Armada, Wrastor is a brilliant, but unpredictable flier. Wrastor is full of reckless bravado and constantly breaks rank for personal glory or to show off, though he can fly into a blind rage rather easily. His arrogance and brashness makes him an infamous recruit, with him causing trouble for both his enemies and captains alike.
- Bradshaw - Wrastor's close friend and another top wingman of the Air Armada, while Wrastor is unpredictable and reckless, Bradshaw is cautious and steady. Despite this, the two are incredibly close friends.
- Many additional unnamed members - Many more members are seen and implied in the background.
