Airi Himekawa (姫川 あいり, Himekawa Airi) is the overarching antagonist of the manga series Oshi no Ko. She is the wife of Seijuurou Uehara, the biological mother of Taiki Himekawa, and the child molester of Hikaru Kamiki, being the one responsible for his villainy.
Appearance[]
Airi had chest-length dark hair that was split on either side, dark-colored eyes and she wore dark-colored lipstick.
Personality[]
Since Airi never physically appears in the story, not much is known about her general demeanor. However, her having an affair with an 11-year-old boy implies that she was a child molester. Also, the fact that she kept all this from her husband suggests that she was an unfaithful woman who had no qualms about cheating on him.
History[]
Not much is known about Airi except that she was an actress who was married to Seijuurou Uehara but also it turns out that like the other celebrities, she had been a victim of sexual abuse within the showbiz industry. At some point, it was implied that she molested aspiring actor Hikaru Kamiki, who was only 11 years old at the time because according to Miyako Saitou, Aqua and Ruby's adoptive mother, there were cultural myths that a person whose dignity was lost due to being a victim of sexual abuse could 'regain' it back through sexually abusing another person, which resulted in her giving birth to Taiki Himekawa. However, it was suspected that Seijuurou learned of her secret later on, which prompted him to kill her at a cottage in Karuizawa before committing suicide. Akane, Aqua's fellow actress and girlfriend theorised that it was Hikaru who told Seijuuro about his relationship with Airi, to have her killed whilst leaving no traces back to him out of revenge for the traumatic ordeals Airi had done to him.

- The name Airi is written in hiragana (あいり), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (愛莉 or 愛梨), it could possibly mean:
- 愛莉 - "love, affection" (愛) (ai) and "white jasmine" (莉) (ri).
- 愛梨 - "love, affection" (愛) (ai) and "pear" (梨) (ri).
- Airi's surname Himekawa means "princess, young lady of noble birth" (姫) (hime) and "river, stream" (川) (kawa).
