Ajit is a minor antagonist from Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, Unholy Alliance and Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia, Liberation campaigns and a playable character from Heroes of Might and Magic IV. He was an overlord of Nighon and later a thief in the world of Axeoth.
Biography[]
Ajit was an overlord in Nighon who studied the experiments and works of a former wizard scientist, Agar, especially the beholders and evil eyes. He began training these creatures for better breed and using them in combat. He first took on a more serious role when he attempted to conquer territories from the weakened kingdom of the necromancers, Deyja and was allied with a traitorous death knight, Clavius. However, the infamous lich Sandro defeated them both, but the conflict did not lead to war between Deyja and Nighon. After that, he had a more serious role when during the invasion of Erathia, he and several overlords and warlocks tried to defend the conquered territories that were close to the borders of Nighon, but were ultimately defeated. Ajit survived the Reckoning, but nothing changed, in fact he chose the thief's path. He lived in deep caves and tunnels while stealing some of the gold mined, but he had no more serious role in Axeoth.
