The Aka Manto is a minor antagonist of the 2021 Roblox horror game, The Mimic, serving as a supporting antagonist in the first chapter.
He is an entity that when interacted with, will prompt the player to choose either red, blue, or green. Choosing red or blue will result in death, but choosing green will spawn the player in an entirely new area, where the entity will chase the player around.
Appearance[]
The Aka Manto is a tall entity that wears a bright red cloak covering his body, hence his name. He also wears a pale mask with both of its eyes shut and large red lips that form a mischievous grin.
When the jumpscare is triggered, the entity's eyes open revealing sunken in eyes with pinhole sized pupils.
Biography[]
The entity will only appear during the game's Halloween event. During this period, if the player enters the bathroom of an abandoned school, they may meet up with him. If the player interacts with him, he will ask the player if they prefer red, blue, or green.
Trivia[]
- This entity is based off of a yokai with the same name. According to the urban legend, the Aka Manto is a murderous entity connected to school toilets (primarily those from elementary schools). He would randomly appear in a bathroom stall, and ask its occupant if they would like red or blue toilet paper. The legend tells that choosing red would result in one getting sliced apart and covering the entity's cloak in bright red, while choosing blue would result in the entity sucking all of their blood, turning their face blue.
