Akamatsu is a crime boss who makes a contract with BAD and the secondary antagonist of episodes 15 and 16 of Robot Detective.
Biography[]
Akamatsu made a contract with BAD to help him steal a large quantity of gold Japan had purchased from South Africa and was loaned Nokogiriman to assist him in the task. With his saw blades and the assistance of a few BAD Agents, Nokogiriman was able to successfully steal the gold and bring it to the warehouse Akamatsu was at.
After bringing the gold to Akamatsu, Nokogiriman stated that BAD would now take half of it as their cut. However, Akamatsu stated that the job wasn't finished and that they still needed to transport it to his hideout. The two deliberated on how to transport such a large quantity of gold without the police finding out but were unable to come up with any ideas, leading Nokogiriman to call upon the BAD leader for guidance. The Leader directed them to smelt the gold down and use an emptied oil tanker to move it.
Though they were successful in moving the gold, K was able to detect it with its scanners and moved to pursue him. Nokogiriman stayed behind to fight K only to be destroyed. Taihoman then took Nokogiriman's place to help Akamatsu finish the operation. However, after being repaired K went to fight Taihoman again and managed to defeat him by trapping him under boulders, enabling the police to capture Akamatsu. Having only recovered half of the gold, the police had Akamatsu lead them to the other half of the gold, only for it to turn out to be a trap by BAD. Taihoman took Jigoku Jihei hostage and used him to force K and Shinzo Go to surrender, locking all three of them in a cell and setting up a time bomb to kill them. However, Shiba arrived just in time to disable the bomb and free K and Shinzo.
While K dealt with Taihoman, the police arrested Akamatsu again.
