Akane Akenawa is one of the two main antagonists in the 21th elusive target mission in the 2016 Hitman game, alongside Pavel Frydel.
Akenawa is a focused and meticulous Japanese surgeon with a private clinic in Tokyo in addition to her position at the GAMA Facility in Hokkaido.
Like Dr. Frydel, Akenawa was also involved in a tragic events that lead to the unlawful death of a patient following an infected liver transplant. She maintained that she was involved in the acquisition of the organ, and protested her innocence.
However, her private clinic in Tokyo is listed as the broker for the acquisition of the organ, and a large payment was made from her accounts to Swiss accounts controlled by Dr. Frydel.
The assassination contract against her and Frydel was filed with the deceased patient's parents, who offered a bonus price if 47 killed them with syringes containing hemorrhagic virus.
Personality[]
Though brilliant and entrepreneurial, Akenawa is an immoral and hypocritical coward, who refused to admit her surgical failure (just like Dr. Frydel did). She even tried to pawn off the patient's death onto Frydel as she tried to convince another patient to exclusively go to her for treatment. She was also rude and even implied to be xenophobic, shown when she called a North Korean patient as filthy.
