|~ Akihiko to Hawkeye.|
Akihiko is a minor antagonist in the 2019 Marvel film Avengers: Endgame. He is an infamous Yakuza crime lord who survived Thanos' death wave, until his death at the hands of Hawkeye.
Being one of the most notorious Yakuza bosses in Japan, Akihiko survived Thanos' death wave that killed half of the universe's populace; even when the surviving Avengers managed to track down and kill Thanos in revenge, their efforts became for naught as he previously destroyed the Infinity Stones so that the death wave cannot be reversed.
Because of this event, Akihiko spend the next five years building himself up in power in Tokyo, and his activities are found out by Hawkeye. Reflecting on how he lost his innocent family to the death wave and that several bad people such as Akihiko didn't deserve to survive such an event, an infuriated Hawkeye decided to take Akihiko and his men out for good. To that end, Hawkeye traveled to Tokyo where he butchered all of Akihiko's men before confronting the crime lord in the streets.
Akihiko demanded to know why Hawkeye is targeting him as he never done personal to him, to which Hawkeye revealed his true reasons. Upon learning of this, Akihiko angrily declares Hawkeye to be crazy and challenges him to a sword fight. Though he fought his best, Akihiko was slashed in the throat by Hawkeye. With his dying breath, Akihiko begged for mercy by asking Hawkeye what he wants. However, Hawkeye refuses Akihiko's pleas by saying that he could never give what he wants: his family. Hawkeye then finished Akihiko by stabbing him in the chest, killing the infamous crime boss once and for all.
