Akira Ayashiro is the secondary antagonist of Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and the son of Kanji Ayashiro. He had been Kyonosuke’s partner who was responsible for the death of his great aunt Kiku and the protagonist’s amnesia.
Appearance[]
In the present day, Akira had brown hair brushed backwards, sideburns around his eyes, a gold piece of jewelry around his neck, a purple shirt and black pants.
In the photo given to the protagonist by Akira’s mother Kaori, he had a plain dark hairstyle, tan skin, and a different face from the one he had in the present. Which look different from how he looked in the present.
Personality[]
From what was heard, Akira had aspirations of becoming the CEO of the Ayashiro company when he became Kanda's partner and was willing to help poison his relatives to death. Whenever he knew of his relation to the protagonist, he had no issue trying to kill him as well. But ultimately, he never realized his actions will result in Kanda betraying and killing him.
Biography[]
Having been arrested a few times for theft, Akira was considered a suspect in the murders of Ayashiro family members after the protagonist lost his memories due to Akira trying to kill him at Unakami cliff when he had been hired to inspect Kiku’s death which was due to being a victim of poisoned Tabaco rather than mere heart-failure than assumed.
After Akira’s failed attempt to kill the protagonist, Akira returned with Kanda to Kiku’s open grave after dumping her corpse into the ocean where Kanda betrays and kills him using the top of Kiku’s tombstone as a blunt weapon before having his ex-partner’s corpse stuffed into his great aunt’s grave.
Afterwards, Kanda proceeded to frame the murders of the next three Kansas on the deceased Akira by planting a key with Akira’s fingerprints by the corpse of his father after killing him with cyanide gas.
After the protagonist, Genshin, Kumada, and the police realize that Akira was killed before his dad, they keep his murder confidential to prevent the true murderer from being alerted by their discovery. Before trying to kill the protagonist, Kanda remarks that Akira had been dreaming of his grand life as company president in his grave.

Trivia[]
- Since he did not look anything like in the photo the protagonist had of him, it may be possible that the Akira who murdered Kiku and antagonized the player had been an imposter. In addition, there was no mention of plastic surgery, or a hair transplant involved.
