Akoya Matama, also known as Loco Musica, is a supporting character of the 2019 ecchi manga series Gushing over Magical Girls and its 2024 anime adaptation of the same name. She is the best friend/lover of Anemo Nemo and one of the four members of Lord's Legion before becoming a member of Enormeeta out of her hatred towards Tanaka Michiko for her cruelty towards her.
She is voiced by Yūka Aisaka in Japanese.

Akoya Matama is the childhood best friend of Anemo Nemo with the two of them first meeting in elementary school when Nemo was asked if she wanted to hear Matama's singing before telling Matama that her singing was bad. Matama would continue to dream of being an idol, however, she had a naturally bad singing voice that everyone, including her own mother, would dislike.
When they were in high school, they were approached by Venalita and Lord Enorme who wished to recruit the two of them into Enormeeta, becoming the two of the four founding members of the organisation with Matama taking on the supervillain identity of Loco Musica. Matama originally wanted her supervillain identity to have a cute idol design but Lord Enorme refused to allow it.
Eventually, she, Leberblume, Lord Enorme and Sister Gigant went on a magical girl hunt across various cities with Leberblume and Loco Musica working as a tag team. While on these hunts, Loco Musica would set up various concerts where she would sing to the civilians who had gathered, being completely unaware that Leberblume was using her Shadow-Bending to force them to attend.
Gushing over Magical Girls[]
When the four of them returned to Nacht Base, Lord Enorme would form Lord's Legion with Leberblume joining her in her betrayal against Enormeeta. After Magia Baiser, Leopard and Nero Alice managed to escape from Sister Gigant, Loco Musica offered to go take them down herself.
Loco Musica would cause a commotion on the streets, causing Leopard and Nero Alice to try and fight her. Loco Musica managed to fend them all off with her Voix Forte and the power advantage she had over the two. Loco Musica would try and convince the two to join Lord Enorme's quest to take over the world and, when asked why she's helping her, Loco Musica would explain that she wanted to be the world's best idol, something that Lord Enorme would allow her to be after she ruled the world.
She would then perform her own original song to Leopard and Nero Alice, sufficiently unimpressing the two of them and causing Leopard to say the song and singing were bad, making Loco Musica cry. This would make her Voix Forte become vastly stronger. Leopard would end up using disguised flashbang grenades so she and Nero Alice could escape.
Due to her failure to kill Enormeeta, Lord Enorme forces Loco Musica to strip naked before getting whipped repeatedly and warns that if she continues to fail, then she will have her dreams crushed along with her body.
After this, Leberblume would tend to her wounds before coming up with a plan to stage another concert in order to lure Magia Baiser, Leopard and Nero Alice out so the two of them could defeat them all. To set up the concert, Leberblume would use her Shadow-Bending to gather a crowd without Loco Musica knowledge. While she was singing, they were attacked by Enormeeta, causing Leberblume to drop her Shadow-Bending and let everyone go.
Both Loco Musica and Leberblume would fight together with Leberblume using her Shadow-Bending to hold Magia Basier in place long enough for Loco Musica to be able to hit them with her Voix Forte. After Leberblume traps both Magia Baiser and Leopard, Loco Musica attacks them both, allowing them to escape from Leberblume's Shadow-Bending, causing her and Leberblume to get into a fight.
When Magia Baiser erects a tree to block Loco Musica's attacks, Leberblume uses the shadow it casts to take control of Leopard, only to realise it is a trap as she was blasted with flash grenades and sealed inside of Nero Alice's doll house, being used as a hostage against Loco Musica. Magia Baiser then manipulates Loco Musica into stripping naked and performing for them otherwise Magia Baiser would crush Leberblume, this makes Loco Musica sing a beautiful song for the first time, making her feel great for someone actually appreciating her song for the first time and admitting her and Leberlume's defeats.
After this, both Loco Musica and Leberblume would detransform and give over the Trans-Magia devices. Matama and Nemo discuss what to do next with Nemo not wanting to go back and getting whipped naked by Lord Enorme. At that moment, Matama decided to join Enormeeta with Nemo following with her, not having any other ideas due to Loco hating Lord Enorme for her cruelty towards her. In her trial to join the Enormeeta, Akoya must kiss Anemo and have sex for each other. They passed and became members of the Enormeeta to fight against Lord Enorme. When Michiko begs Akoya and Anemo to save her from getting punished by Utena, the two refused, knowing of the suffering they endured which includes Akoya was whipped naked.
Abilities[]
- Trans-Magia: Matama has the power to transform into her magical form, Loco Musica, by shouting "Trans-Magia" while holding a special star-shaped device given to her by Venalita.
- Recognition Inhibition: As Trans Magia, Loco Musica's true appearance is hidden or at least unrecognizable so that a person would not recognize it.
- Voix Forte: Voix Forte is a sound-based attack where Loco Musica shouts into her microphone, causing various musical notes to be launched at the opponent. If Loco Musica is made upset, then Voix Forte increases in both power and number of projectiles.
- Fortissimo Cannon: The Fortissimo Cannon is a powerful move that Loco Musica can use when empowered by Leberblume. This move is a powerful beam of pure sound that is vastly stronger than her Voix Forte.
