Alan Connor is a major antagonist in the sitcom Community. He is a lawyer at Hamish, Hamish, and Hamlen. He was Jeff Winger's former business partner before betraying him.
He was portrayed by Rob Corddry who also played Ron Fox in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, Squirrel Wizard in Robot Chicken and Mr. Walt House in Rapture-Palooza.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Alan Connor was a lawyer at Hamish, Hamish, and Hamlen where he worked with Jeff Winger. Together, the two of them mostly defended known criminals. Jealous of Jeff's meteoric rise, Alan revealed that Jeff faked his bachelor's degree, causing Jeff to be fired. Alan eventually went to rehab for narcotic use where Annie Edison also attended. He accidentally revealed to her that he betrayed Jeff.
Season Two[]
Alan bumped into Jeff at Greendale while going to an NA meeting. He started hanging out with Jeff. He invited Jeff to a party for his law firm. There, he got Jeff to convince Ted to make Alan partner at the firm. He then told Jeff that a man named Thompson betrayed him. Jeff learned that Alan actually betrayed him and left.
Season Three[]
Alan was hired to represent Pierce as he sued Shirley over ownership of Shirley's Sandwiches. Jeff was representing Shirley. Alan asked Jeff to throw the case in return for a spot at the firm. He then made harsh comments about Shirley. Jeff decided not to join Alan and made a speech about selflessness, causing Pierce to drop the suit. Alan then revealed that he betrayed Jeff, to which Jeff responded that he already knew.
Season Five[]
After Jeff's law business failed, Alan approached him to help him sue Greendale for a man named Humphry. Jeff agreed and got the former Study Group to help. When the Dean shredded Humphry's records, Jeff convinced the Study Group to Sue Greendale instead. Jeff then took the case from Alan and beat him with his own tie. As revenge, Alan revealed to the former Study Group that Jeff was manipulating them.
