Biography[]
The Hammers of Fate[]
Alaric was a priest of the town of Flammschrein who was seduced by an evil succubus, Biara. It became apparent early on that he was much more fanatical and delusional than the other priests, and Biara took advantage of this. After assuming the body of Queen Isabel Greyhound, she founded the Red Church, then appointed Alaric as Archbishop and gave him considerable power in exchange for his loyalty. However, with the help of dark elf assassins, he assassinated the former lord of Flammschrein, Lort Fulbert, and usurped the city's power. The fanatical priest then helped her in all her plans.
His first task was to retrieve the real Isabel's nephew, Prince Andrei, who had been taken by two rebel leaders, Archbishop Randall and Lord Caldwell. Alaric, Laszlo, a commander of the armies of the Red Church and Freyda Unicorn the daughter of the famous Godric Unicorn spoke to the two leaders of the rebels, Lord Caldwel and Archbishop Randal. Alaric was less rude than Laszlo, but he was very angry when Randal called the Order of the Red Temple the False Church, and the fanatic angrily declared that he was a heretic and he will burn for what he said. Laszlo then insulted the two rebel leaders, who were determined to destroy the enemy. The reinforcements were attacked by elves and since the rebels were in the land of the elves, it was not easy to advance. However, Freyda was a talented fighter and strategist, two rebels were defeated and Alaric was satisfied. However, the child was nowhere to be found, because he was taken to another rebel, Duncan Stag, who was in Horncrest and he was the duke of the Stag Dutchy.
Alaric arranged for Freyda and Laszlo to receive new reinforcements, but suddenly in one area the peasants turned into demons and fire began to form around them. Alaric then decided to exterminate all demonic entities in the area.
However, Freyda wanted to do the order less and less. Alaric and Laszlo began to burn villages and farms without any evidence or reason, and killed the inhabitants. Four cities were completely destroyed, but demons continued to appear in certain places. Alaric then complained to Saint Isabel that Freyda was disobedient to his orders. The queen then told the girl that she had imprisoned her father and blackmailed her into obeying the archbishop or else she would torture and kill Godric. Then the campaign against the rebels continued and they captured Horncrest and defeated Duncan. The count said that Andrei was taken to the dwarves of the Winterwind clan. When he started taunting a little, Alaric wanted him dead and ordered his head beheaded. However, Freyda warned Alaric that Duncan was a influential man and his death would only enrage the rebels even more. The girl asked to be imprisoned him instead. Laszlo wanted to kill him at all costs, but Alaric saw that Freyda was right and imprisoned him.
Then the armies of the Red Church approached the borders of the dwarven kingdom. However, the dwarves did not want to let them in. When Freyda and Alaric approached the dwarves, they were told that only a few could enter, but that the Red Church troops could not cross the border. Alaric became a little nervous, but Freyda tried to calm him down and asked him to try to convince Laszlo not to do anything reckless. However, when Freyda reached Tor Hrall, Laszlo launched an attack on the dwarves and war broke out. Saint Isabell later manipulated the king of the dwarves, King Tholgar into making an alliance with them against the dark elves, in return she wanted Prince Andrei. The prince was now with Alairc. After the rebels defeated Laszlo and wanted to launch a united counterattack, Alaric and his entire army teleported to Talonguard, where the false Isabel was already waiting for them. Then the woman informed Alaric that she would richly reward his services, but he still had to bring the boy to her. But when he left, she assumed her demonic form and it turned out that he was really Biara, the succubus. Andrei was then killed, and Biara and Alaric's power was greater than ever.
Tribes of the East[]
Alaric was fighting a battle when a battle griffin messenger brought him unexpected news. The orcs rebelled, their leader, Quroq, defeated a small army of Klaus and destroyed Voron peak. However, the orc horde did not stop, so Alaric prepared with a large, strong and organized army. The two armies eventually collided and although the Red Church also suffered losses, the orcs suffered a heavy defeat. Quroq was mortally wounded, with his last words he wanted his adopted son Gotai to avenge him. He then died and his head was cut off. However, the new khan, Gotai immediately set out with a much stronger army, and he himself proved to be a much better warlord. He destroyed six cities, all the huts of the peasants and defeated several armies. Alaric was furious and warned his troops that he would punish them severely if they did not stop the orcs. He then went to Queen Isabel and told her that Quroq was dead and his head had been cut off and picked of the parade ground. Meanwhile, a necromancer and the new lord of Heresh, Lord Arantir, captured the city of Flammschrein and freed the real Isabel's essence. Then Biara assumed his true demonic form and scolded Alaric, who did not protect the city, but fought against the orcs. The priest was completely confused when he saw that he had been serving a Succubus all along, who informed him that he had fulfilled the goalst of Urgash and the evil. Alaric then went completely insane, running away shouting and laughing loudly. He runs to his own army and then sets off against the orcs.
However, the situation was bad. Gotai captured another city and inflicted significant defeats on the wizards and captured three of their cities. Alaric's army was very strong and organized, but Gotai didn't make the same mistake that Quroq did and he used different strategies. The orc warlord destroyed most of the fanatics' army, and the survivors were surrounded. Then Gotai and a goblin, Khengi, approached Alaric and the fanatics. The goblin said that the orc leader had offered the archbishop a duel, giving him the opportunity to die an honorable death and that the surviving soldiers would not necessarily die. However, Alaric was so overcome by madness that he could only shout that the orcs were demons and to kill the goblin. Two crossbowmen shot Khengi and he died. Gotai became angry and told Alaric that he would die a dishonorable death and that his soldiers would all be killed. However, the archbishop was not afraid, but ordered his soldiers to kill the orc leader as well and he wanted to cut off his head personally, because his mind was so sick and mad that he thought that the severed head would transform Biara back into Isabel's and she become an angel. At Gotai's battle cry, his horde charged. The fanatics fought bravely and persistently, but it was clear that this was the end for them and they died one after another. Alaric was left alone and Gotai attacked him. The archbishop tried to perform magical attack, but he was too weakened during the battle and Gotai may have been somewhat resistant to magic as well. The orc killed Alaric with his axe, who collapsed dead among his dead soldiers.
