Albatross Sanctos is the primary antagonist from Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time. He is the Guildmaster of the Brave Swordsmen's Guild, also being the father of Luvelia Sanctos and the soon-to-be Father-in-Law of Peter Grill but would do anything to prevent Peter from marrying his daughter.
He is voiced by Takayuki Sugou, who also voiced Jose from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Shiryu from One Piece in the Japanese Version while in the English version he is voiced by John Swasey, who also voiced by Crocodile from One Piece and All For One from My Hero Academia.
Appearance[]
Albatross Sanctos is shown to be a tall elderly tan skin man with numerous wrinkles on his face, with white hair combed back and moustache. He also shown to wear armor and a white cloak.
Personality[]
Albatross is shown to be a bit of an overprotective father and seems to have a daughter complex as he loves his daughter as he sheltered Luvelia her whole life, even telling her where Babies come from (the whole "storks and cabbage patch" story) in order to keep her pure. He also shown to have a huge hatred for Peter due to him winning the tournament and earning the prize of Luvelia's hand in marriage, even threatening to kill him in order to keep Luvelia from not being pure. In fact, he came up with a few plans that would not only end the engagement between Peter and Luvelia but also give him the chance to kill Peter.
Another side of Albatross is that he shown to be a bit greedy, as most of the alliance between the guild and other nations involved money, such as when his plan to have Peter Sleep with Piglette not only allow him to kill Peter but also allow the Guild to receive money from the orcland or their protection money from the dwarves.
Biography[]
In his first cameo appearance, Albatross (along with his daughter and other Future Harems) watch as Peter became the first human to win the tournament in over 100 years. It was later revealed that this tournament also had another prize with the winner would get the blessing of The Guildmaster as they will marry his daughter. However when Peter and Luvelia went to see him, Albatross refuse as he doesn't remember making that promise (which he made when he was drunk) and not wanting his daughter's purity to be ruined, Albatross attempted to kill Peter on the spot, until Luvelia pointed out that if he doesn't accept the promised he made, then she will cut ties with him and move out and not wanting his daughter to leave, Albatross agreed and gave his blessing towards them both, but vowed (with foam coming out of his mouth and his eyes bleeding blood) that he will make Peter pay for what he did.
Later during a celebration of the engagement of Peter and Luvelia, Albatross came to the table and asked Peter to move from his sit so he can talk to Luvelia in private but when Peter refuse to lift up, this caused Albatross to go crazy while Luvelia is impressed that Peter stand up to him (not knowing that in reality the Alpacas sisters were hiding under the table while Peter didn't have his pants or boxers on due to them removing them).
The next night as Albatross is a sad that he will lose Luvelia soon, he got a massage from the Orcland and upon reading it, is happy and came up with a plan. The Next Day, Albatross called Peter to the throne as he revealed that he was given a massage from the Orcland that was more of a proposal where the orcland kingdom wanted Peter to marry one of the female Orcs so that they can have access to his lineage. However, Peter (and then Luvelia) became upset upon hearing how there was a marriage proposal despite the announcement of Peter and Luvelia's engagement a few days ago, but her father explains that this is just a formality and that they must give them a polite refusal, as they don't want to ruin the relationship between the Orcland and Brave Swordsmen's Guild (since the Nobles of Orcland are considered to be the wealthiest of the kingdoms).
Later as Albatross and Peter are in the dining room with Babe Roastpor, who told one of his servant to bring out the female Orc they wanted Peter to marry. To Peter's shock (and both Albatross and Babe's delight), it was revealed that the female orc chosen to be Peter's bride, Piglette Pancetta is actually a beautiful orc with Human-like traits. Albatross then asked Peter to take Piglette out for a while to get to know each other, where unbeknownst to them, the Goon Squad Trio (hired by Albatross) came to mess with Piglette, only for Peter to stop them as both him and her escape.
That night as Peter explains that this marriage is nothing more than an attempt for score some political points and even manage to get Piglette to agree with him. As Peter decide to leave, Albatross believed that Peter is being rude for leaving without hearing their guest's responds and Babs came up with another idea. This time, the plan is for Peter and Piglette to sleeping in the same room for the night without getting intimate, which would make it proof that the marriage would not happen. However, when Peter sees Piglette in a pink-see through nightgown and the aid of a drink the woman drank that was spiked with aphrodisiac, romantic tension begins to settle. To make matters worse, it later revealed that if Peter doesn't not sleep with Piglette, the Warrior's Guild will be broke and if he does, then the engagement will be broken and The Guildmaster will kill Peter himself.
The next morning as Albatross, Babe, Peter and Piglette are at the dinning room, Albatross made the foolish mistake of asking Piglette what happened, and she lied saying that Peter never touched her in anyway, which shocked Albatross, as he can't believe that Peter actually somehow resisted Piglette's appearance. Piglette then asked if she could join to the warrior's guild to remain at Peter's side, something both Albatross and Babe approved of.
One night Albatross informs Peter that he chose him for a special ceremony of the recreation of when the Guild saved the Dwarf Citizens from a giant cicada-mole, even giving him that same sword called "Shiratikmaru" that was used to kill the creatures years ago by destroy a statue of a cicada-mole and warns him that if anything were to happen, he cannot help him. Unbeknownst to Peter, it was revealed that he purposely damages the blade so that he thinks Peter would run away from the ceremony, giving him the chance to end the engagement and kill him himself. However his plan was foiled when a real cicada-mole showed up and Peter (using the Shiratikmaru, which was formed into a Axe due to the limited time Peter had to get it fix) killed the cicada-mole, ruining his plans once more.
Later then it was time to return, Albatross was confronted by Luvelia, who wanted to go on vacation with Peter but he refuse as he doesn't want her to be alone with him, fearing she would lose her purity, even destroying the tickets she had. However this lead to Luvelia finally standing up to him as she decides to cut ties with him and move out.
