Colonel Alberto Fussar is a major antagonist in the 2018 western action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption II, serving as the main antagonist of the Guarma chapter.
He is the tyrannical governor of the island of Guarma, as well as a Cuban Military colonel and sugar plantation owner who exploits the population for his benefits.
He was voiced by Alfredo Narciso.
Background[]
Fussar is the corrupt dictator of the island of Guarma which is just off Cuba where Arthur Morgan, Dutch van der Linde, Javier Escuella, Bill Williamson, and Micah Bell are washed up on after a pathetic bank heist in Saint Denis.
Fussar runs a sugar plantation in Guarma while enslaving and kidnapping the residents who oppose him along with everybody else who comes into the island.
Fussar is first seen when Arthur and Dutch snuck into Aguasdulces, seeing Fussar's men beating Javier after captured by them, the colonel eventually learned that the gang have a large bounty on their heads. He alerts the navy and prepare gun batteries on the shore to stop them from leaving. Arthur, along with Dutch, Micah and Hercule Fontaine, destroyed these batteries and made their way to rescue the ship captain.
Arthur busts into the workers' cabin to rescue the captain but gets tackled by Levi Simon, Fussar's right-hand man. Levi holds Arthur at gunpoint, and Dutch is also held at gunpoint by Fussar himself. Arthur kicks a rifle over to the captain, who kills Levi with a shot in the chest, Fussar manages to escape to the tower.
As the gang then begins making their way to the ship, Fussar uses a Gatling gun on the tower to attack them. Knowing they won't be able to set sail while under the colonel's fire, Dutch and Hercule draw Fussar's fire as a distraction so Arthur can sneak to a nearby cannon. Once he reaches it, Arthur fires the cannon at Fussar's tower, destroying it and killing the colonel in the process.

- Alberto Fussar is first seen at a party at the Saint Denis mayor's house where he is pointed out by Angelo Bronte.
- A newspaper article seen in the game's epilogue reveals that Guarma is even worse off after Fussar is killed, as JD McKnight took over the island's sugar industry and caused the island to become totally reliant on American imports, which in turn led to the workers being mistreated even worse than under Fussar.
- Alberto is about 165cm (5'5'' feet) tall and weighs 60kg (132 pounds).
