Albus is the deuteragonist of the 2008 action role-playing game Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.
He is the adoptive brother of Shanoa, raised to be an agent of the titular Order of Ecclesia to oppose the forces of darkness. However, when he discovered that the Dominus glyph that was meant to destroy Dracula forever could only be used at the cost of the caster's life, he stole Dominus to protect his sister and slowly became corrupted by its power.
In Japanese, he was voiced by Toshihiko Seki, who also voiced Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Aaroniero Arruruerie while disguised as Kaien Shiba in Bleach, Aleister Crowley in the A Certain Magical Index series, Il Dottore in Genshin Impact, Rau Le Creuset in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Conrad Leto in Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King and Lord Embryo in Cross Ange. In English, he was voiced by Keith Silverstein, who also voiced Hisoka Morow in Hunter x Hunter, Johan Liebert in Monster, Chairman Rose in Pokemon: Twilight Wings, Masayoshi Shido in Persona 5, Hawk Moth in Miraculous Ladybug, Deep Sea King in One-Punch Man, Dr. Wily in Mega Man 11, Aaroniero Arruruerie in Bleach, Doctor Tomoe in Sailor Moon, the Cat Mask Seller in A Whisker Away and Kurozumi Orochi in One Piece.
History[]
Albus was trained along with Shanoa by their master, Barlowe. They received a mission to retrieve a powerful weapon named Dominus. Albus later finds Shanoa and he gives 2 pieces of the Dominus to her, he later steals the last piece of the Dominus due to its immense dark power, Albus nearly succumbs to Dracula's will and makes a retreat to the Mystery Manor, where a final showdown between him and Shanoa takes place. He is then killed by Shanoa for good. However if Shanoa rescued all thirteen villages that , he takes form of a spiritual self.
After Shanoa defeats Dracula, he offers himself to Dominus as it is mentioned that it requires the sacrifice of a soul after using it. He asked Shanoa one last request, to smile for him. After that he passes on to the afterlife.

- Albus and Barlowe are the only bosses that cannot hurt Shanoa by touch.
