HistoryAldegor joined Patros in his plan to obtain the Hogyoku so as to use it to overthrow Aizen and when Ulquiorra Cifer caught their leader trying to steal it, Aldegor and Menis appeared. The three cut the 4th Espada down (not realizing it was actually just an illusion made by Aizen's Zanpakuto), then went to Karakura Town. While Patros went to find a person he'd heard that kenw how to use the Hogyoku, Aldegor and Menis took on captain Histugaya's team. The two released their Zanpakuto with Aldegor noting they should see the difference between their power and they weren't worth taking seriously. The Arrancar then engaged the Shinigami with Aldegor taking on Ikkaku Madarame, who told his companion, Yumichika Ayasegawa, to stay out of it. The Arrancar said he was foolish to fight him alone as he deflected Ikkau's attacks with his armored appendages and they continued to fight. Aldegor eventually demonstrated his ability to roll himself into a ball to knock his opponent back, however Yumichika said he found someone who threw their body around in combat truly ugly. Aldegor said he'd take him down next, when Ikkaku attacked, reminding the Arrancar he was his opponent and actually succeeding in breaking one of the appendages of his Resurrección form. Aldegor was eventually defeated and fled to Patros' location, along with Menis, prompting their leader to ask what happened to them. The two just asked if he'd figured out how to use the Hogyoku, but after Menis froze and shattered, Aldegor told Patros he regretted having joined him, before succumbing to his injuries and dying.
PowersAldegor has considerable spiritual power, able to take on a lieutenant level Shinigami when released, and has demonstrated use of Sonído, an Arrancar technique that lets him move extremely fast. Like all Arrancar, Aldegor can enter his Resurrección form by releasing his Zanpakuto, Jabalí, with the release command, "Get them" (or Freeze in the English dub). When he does so, he gains an increase in power and armored skin over his upper body with six hinged appendages on his back, that can be used offensively and defensively. Aldegor can also form them into a sphere around himself so he can roll at his opponents as a form of attack.
- The name of Aldegor's Zanpakuto is Spanish for "Boar".
