Alec Peters is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Traumatic Wound". He is the ex-boyfriend of Gabby Shaw who conspires with his friends to have her gang-raped as revenge for breaking up with him.
He was portrayed by Parker Pogue.
Biography[]
Alec is a popular student and longtime close friend of Britt Yardley and Jake Swenders. He dated Gabby Shaw who was a part of the friend group. He became possessive and controlling over Gabby which resulted in her breaking up with him. He was furious about this and told her that breaking up with him was the biggest mistake of her life and that no one breaks up with him. He gets his friends to ostracize Gabby.
As revenge for breaking up with him, Alec conspires with Britt and Jake and gets them to set up Gabby to be gang-raped with the help of fellow student Louis Priatti, paying him $500. Alec has Britt and Jake act nice to Gabby again and invite her to a concert, having Britt pick a yellow top out for Gabby that she will not be able to wear a bra under. At the concert, Louis' brother, Ralph Priatti, videotapes this, Jake having bought tickets for Louis and Ralph. During the concert while Jake distracts Gabby by dancing with her, Louis pulls down Gabby's top so that she is topless in front of a crowd of aggressive and drunk men, causing six men to aggressively sexually assault and gang-rape her using their hands and beer bottles. Gabby is left badly injured and taken to the hospital.
SVU instigates and arrests all of the men who assaulted Gabby. They question and arrest veteran and bouncer, Frank Patterson who jumped on Gabby during the assault after during an episode of PTSD in an attempt to protect her. He is initially though to have been involved in the assault, but the detectives learn this was not the case. Ralph gives the video of Gabby's assault to Alec, who uploads it to the school website to further humiliate her. Ralph is questioned by the detectives and shown a video of him and his brother leaving the concert. Ralph reveals the truth and states how he didn't know Gabby was going to be gang-raped. Detectives Rollins and Amaro meet with Alec and question him, but he denies any involvement in the assault. Alec, Britt, and Jake are all brought into court and with the video Alec posted being used as evidence, Alec, Britt, and Jake are all convicted and imprisoned.
Personality[]
Alec is a controlling, petty, cruel, narcissistic, and entitled individual who acted controlling and possessive over Gabby while they were together and holds such hatred over her for breaking up with him that he arranges for her to be gang-raped without any remorse.
