Alejandro Rivera is a villain that appeared in the TV show NCIS. He is the son of Pedro Hernandez and brother of Paloma Reynosa.
Biography[]
His father Pedro Hernadez was a powerful drug lord leader of his own Cartel in Mexico. He had a close relationship with his father, as the latter taught him baseball and told him he could be a better man when he grew up. As a result of his Pedro's murder, he sought vengeance on the person to kill him.
While his sister reshaped their father's organization to her own empire. Alejandro became an official the Mexican Justice Department when in reality, he was secretly relaying info to his sister in order to find the man who killed Hernadez.
NCIS forensics analyst Abby Scuito looked into Hernadez' murder after it became a cold case. Alejandro caught wind of this and offered a hand, when in truth he wanted to see what she found. After he learned that Abby's superior Leroy Jethro Gibbs was responsible, he notified his sister and they discovered that Gibbs killed their father in retaliation for the murders of his wife and daughter.
When Gibbs was captured, Alejandro revealed his true allegiance to him ordered Gibbs to start working for her or she would kill his family and friends but he refused. Gibbs also taunted them on the murder of their father, as Alejandro grabbed a gun and nearly shot him but Gibbs was unfazed while remarking that Alejandro never killed. They were going to seek vengeance but Gibbs was able to escape their grasps and reported Alejandro's duplicitous nature to his team, as they note on how he was an enemy.
Four months later, Paloma was lured to a safe house she believed Gibbs, Jackson, and Mike Franks had taken refuge. Unknown to her, Alejandro arrived not too long after being tricked into believing Paloma to be dead. In a vengeful rage, Alejandro opened fire on the safe house with an assault rifle believing Gibbs and his father to be in it. After being arrested by NCIS it was revealed it was actually Paloma who was in the house, and Alejandro had accidentally shot his sister, due to it being perhaps a trap set by NCIS. Alejandro was horrified when Gibbs and his father promptly arrived on the scene, as they were at another safe house while he realized that Paloma was inside and what he had done. After being cuffed, the horrified Alejandro coming in soon after. An ambulance was called, as Paloma shared one final moment with her brother, showing no ill will and recited the poem of the spider and the fly as her last words.
Sometime later, Alejandro was imprisoned, and it is revealed he was given permission to attend his sister's funeral.
He was later visited by Agent Tony Dinozzo after it is revealed he had connections to prisoners escaping from a Navy Ship but he claims no knowledge or involvement. He also informs Tony about Gibbs killing his father but the latter said he knew nothing of it. NCIS later uncovered Alejandro was lying after it is revealed his cousin was the owner of the club that got broke in. It is also revealed he used his connections with the cartel and government to acquire funds to support his girlfriend and funnel his alliance with a prison gang. He requested one favor the death of Agent Gibbs, a request they were willing to carry out because Gibbs and his team killed a majority of the leadership. After his role is uncovered, Gibbs visited him and reveals to Alejandro that he killed the assassin sent after him and his girlfriend gave him up. Alejandro was speechless especially when Gibbs tells him his cohorts are dead and that his role will be revealed. Realizing he's beaten, Alejandro spoke to Gibbs and acknowledges though his father took Gibbs' family from him that Pedro was still his father and how he yearns for Gibbs' death because he took his family and made him this way. Gibbs tells Alejandro that people choose their paths and Alejandro chose to be scum like his father. Outraged, Alejandro told the guard this visit was finished.
