~ Dimitrios ducking responsibility for James Bond foiling Le Chiffre's plan |
Alex Dimitrios is a supporting antagonist of the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale. He is a government contractor and associate of Quantum financier Le Chiffre.
He was portrayed by Simon Abkarian.
History[]
After killing Mollaka Danso, James Bond learned of Alex Dimitrios, who has been assigned by Le Chiffre to sabotage a company called Skyfleet by blowing up the new Skyfleet S570.
Bond also learns that Le Chiffre has spent $101,206,000 from terrorist warlord Steven Obanno (on behalf of Quantum leader Mr. White) to fund for the operation that Danso was intended to accomplish. With this information, Bond is able to track Dimitrios to the Bahamas, where he is seen playing poker and abusing his wife Solange before losing to an arriving Bond, who later seduces Solange. Upon learning of his wife's tryst with Bond, he murders her.
Dimitrios makes his way to the Miami International Airport to meet with Carlos Nikolic to blow up the prototype. He attacks 007 and pulls a knife on him, but Bond turns the knife and stabs Dimitrios in the chest, killing him instantly.
Bond would later finish the job by strapping the bomb into Carlo's belt, killing him and saving the prototype from destruction.
Trivia[]
