Alex Montgomery is a supporting antagonist in The Rookie. He is a robber who is killed by John Nolan.
Biography[]
Alex appeared in Time of Death during which he and his brother, Kyle, committed a burglary that triggered an alarm. John Nolan was called to the scene with the brothers fleeing the scene, but Kyle evaded Nolan while Alex was arrested. Alex breaks into a nearby house and takes a family hostage before Nolan confronts him. After Alex runs to the second floor and pulls out a gun, Nolan shoots him to protect the residents. However, his death led to guilt and temporary suspension. Kyle received word of his death and was devastated by, leading him to track Nolan. After tracking him to his home, Kyle attacked Nolan while his guard was down.
After the ending of the next episode, they get into a scuffle. Kyle starts with the win but Chen shows up with a gun and tells him to stop. Nolan then throws him through the window, knocking him out. An investigation is launched as Kyle said there was someone else in the house, but Nolan manages to lie his way out of it.
