Congressman Alex Shrub is a minor antagonist in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. He was a congressman aiming for president who Tommy Vercetti plans to incriminate.
He was voiced by Christopher Lucas.
Personality[]
Alex Shrub appears as an extremely selfish and greedy man, willing to turn a blind eye to anything as long as he gets money in his pockets out of it. He openly disgusts the poor, referring to them as "too stupid" to understand his campaign and is also completely against the concept of sharing, especially money.
Appearance[]
Alex Shrub appeared as a young man with dark tan skin and short, black hair styled upwards. He wore a dark blue suit over a white shirt and also wore a red tie.

Backstory[]
Alex Shrub was elected as congressman in 1980, making him the youngest state congressman in the history of Vice City. He also did at some point meet and marry Laura Shrub, though the marriage was an unhappy one.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City[]
His first appearance in the game is during "The Party", appearing as one of the Colonel Juan Cortez's guests on his yacht. He later appeared again, now wanting to make the legal act of distributing p*rn illegal to try and win the support of more voters. Tommy Vercetti then comes up with a plan to stop him, s he recently purchased a p*rn video studio, so he took three pictures of Shrub alongside his favorite prostitute, Candy Suxxx, to incriminate him. Knowing this could ruin him, Shrub sends his men after Vercetti to try and stop him and retrieve the pictures, however, Tommy got away and delivered the pictures to Steve.
