Alex Timmons is a minor antagonist in season one of Dexter as well as Dexter Early Cuts.
He was portrayed by Demetrius Grosse in the tv show and Shawn Schultz in the Early Cuts.
After the Ice Truck Killer had somehow retrieved Valerie Castillo from the ocean after Dexter Morgan murdered her, Dexter realizes he has to now throw away any and all evidence that could link him to the crime. As he's about to throw away his old blood slides that he collected from all his previous victims however, he has several flashbacks of the lasts words spoken to him by said victims, one of them being Alex Timmons.
Alex had been a skilled hunter and marksman from a young age and at one point, decided to join the Unites States' Marines as a sniper to allow him to satisfy his blood lust without being sentenced to prison for it. After murdering three children in cold blood, Alex was dishonorably discharged and sent home to the US. Once home, Alex took out his frustrations by murdering four people with his military rifle. Dexter soon found out about what he was doing and met Alex at a gun range and pretended to need help with his run down car, and while Alex was distracted, Dexter sedated him and then kidnapped Alex. After preparing a kill room for him, getting a confession, and then taking his blood slide, Dexter finally killed him off-screen in an unknown manner.
