Alexandryu is a major antagonist in Yozakura Family. He’s a minor antagonist of the Spy Association Arc and the main antagonist of the Wedding Arc as well as a gold
ranked spy and editor in chief of Spy Day.
Personality[]
Alexandryu gives off the impression of having a flirty demeanor; he frequently asks amorous inquiries and makes cutesy comments to other people. This appears to be because he's constantly attempting to find out about drama or scandal from people in order to get a nice story from them to publish as gossip in his magazine. In addition, Alexandryu says that "information is a spy's lifeblood" and that he is devoted to circumstances that will lead to a positive piece in his gossip publication.
As seen by his decision to take care of the orphans taught by the Spy Association, Alexandryu also possesses a compassionate side. He is well-liked by all the kids and enjoys having them demonstrate the skills they have acquired from him. He also helps with their training and advancement. In addition to being incredibly attentive to the kids and staying in touch with them even after they've left the association, he also makes an attempt to commit every detail of the kids to memory.
Alexandryu has a flirty relationship with Shinzo Yozakura and is also very close to him. This is because he trained the younger man from an early age and was quite proud of his development. According to Alexandryu, he thinks he could write a fantastic story about Shinzo for his magazine.
Biography[]
Past[]
Alexandryu had eventually made the decision to work at the Spy Association Headquarters' children's training wing. He met Shinzo Yozakura, who fled his family to train there, while he was employed there. After learning that Shinzo is a Yozakura, Alexandryu became interested in him and started to take care of and train him while he was there. Rei Yozakura gave Shinzo permission to visit frequently so that Alexandryu could look after him. Even now, the kids still receive care from Alexandryu, who is regarded as the den mother there. He also coerced Takime into making his wish to have Shinzo and Katana get married, but told him not to force a marriage between them.
Spy Association Arc[]
When Shinzo was waiting outside for the gold-rank spies to have a conference, Alexandryu crept up behind him and touched his chest, making Shinzo panic and attack him with turmeric. This is how we first saw Alexandryu. Without seeming shaken, Alexandryu asks Shinzo to participate in a nude photo shoot with his magazine after complimenting him.
Alexandryu keeps trying to touch Shinzo during the meeting, but Shinzo is holding him back. He votes to expel the Yozakura Family from the Spy Association as a result of Momo Yozakura's actions, when the purpose of the meeting is made clear. Although he has affection for the Yozakura family, he would much prefer to have a juicy story for his magazine, and he is aware that the family could live without being a member of the Spy Association. After learning that he would disrespect the family, Shura threatens him. This infuriates Futaba as well, and as the three of them start fighting, Shinzo tries to mediate the situation.
Alexandryu misinterpreted Kyoichiro's suggestion to catch Momo in a set period of time as three months, believing that to be a fair duration. In reality, however, he meant three days. Then, full of enthusiasm for the potential storyline, he promises a special interview with Shinzo after it is implemented. A video message including a bomb threat on the headquarters of the Spy Association was then sent to the group by Momo. After remarking that Momo is crazy, Alexandryu becomes eager to beat him. He takes the lead and remarks on Momo's crazy nature and how he's like Kyoichiro on the way to the Spy Association headquarters.
They all split up after they get to the headquarters, and Alexandryu takes Taiyo and Shinzo with him so he can question them both on the way. They eventually arrive at the Children's Training Wing, where he is warmly welcomed by all the young people who come to ask for his assistance and to show off their talents. Alexandryu remembers how small Shinzo was and how pleased he is of him when Shinzo tells Taiyo about how Alexandryu used to train the kids here and Shinzo when he was younger. Then, Alexandryu remarks that he wishes "he" could still be here to witness how much Shinzo has matured, to which Shinzo responds.
Shinzo then grabs and chokes Tobio when he asks Alexandryu to demonstrate how to crack a code. Shinzo begins by describing how the genuine Tobio was adopted a month ago and is currently taking piano lessons. He claims that Tobio's fingers are 2 mm longer and his eyes are 3% paler than Tobio's, and that as editor-in-chief of Spy Day, he is able to memorize every person's personal information. He also claims that the imposter was reckless. When the phony Tobio turns out to be a Dark Cherry, Alexandryu punches it to bits. As soon as another one begins to show itself, Alexandryu leaps forward to confront it, seizes its head, and smashes it through multiple walls.
The Dark Cherry stabs him and tries to drain him of his blood, but Alexandryu pulls out a pen and notepad and begins to record everything. He describes how they have tentacles that rip through skin, create excruciating pain, and make the normal person crumble. They also feel like a tree trunk and have the ability to change shape while maintaining their core. But while he remarks that this would make an excellent article, Ryu's overwhelming muscle and strength compel the tentacle to shrivel up. Ryu then gives it a hug that splatters it into pieces. He instructs the children to calm down and return to their training, saying that he saw them the instant he walked into the room. He informs everyone else via phone how he's taken out two of them.
Visitor Arc[]
Alexandryu was supposed to employ Shinzo to train him at Spy Day Editorial for the five years of training for the Yozakura Family. Calling it his "uniform," he had Shinzo give him tea while he was only sporting a thong, a bow tie, and bunny ears. He says the Spy Day Editorial Department wants to strip everything naked, thus clothes are only ornaments, therefore to them, clothes are nothing. Then, accusing Shinzo of misusing his position of authority as his employer, he strips him nude and takes pictures of him in the nude state.
Wedding Arc[]
After five years, Alexandryu reappears as Shinzo is communicating a covert message to the Yozakura Family. He describes how, without getting his consent, Alexandryu had set up and arranged for Shinzo to get married to his daughter Katana Alexand. As he's sending this message, Alexandryu enters and asks him questions regarding the wedding. He approaches Shinzo from behind and takes his phone after figuring out what Shinzo is doing.
The day before Shinzo and Katana's wedding, Alexandryu is with them at the Shuei Hotel, complimenting them and taking endless pictures. Katana comments on how ridiculous he is, but he defends his behavior, citing his responsibilities as editor-in-chief. He promises to make the wedding spectacular and says it will be the highlight of his professional life.
The following day, Alexandryu has Katana and Shinzo dressed in several outfits, trying to figure out what fits Shinzo the best. He forewarns Shinzo that if he ever tries to flee, people will get hurt since he has Spy Day workers prepared to stop him. He then explains to Shinzo how Takemi's wish is being fulfilled and feels that Shinzo should be aware of this. And with that, he holds a cake knife etched with Takemi's name. The Yozakura Family has arrived, Usa tells him, and they threaten to burn the hotel if he doesn't let Shinzo leave. He leaves, knowing this wedding will move forward.
After meeting the Yozakura Family, Alexandryu threatens them all by revealing information about them that he would publish in Spy Day magazine. When the siblings' humiliation cripples them all, Taiyo ends the conversation by promising that they will see Shinzo soon and that they will be able to save him following the wedding. As Alexandryu leaves, he tells Taiyo how much he has improved as a spy and expresses gratitude for his capitulation because he was unable to obtain anything with which to blackmail Taiyo.
The ceremony starts and the crowd starts booing at him as Taiyo and the rest of the family start trying to ruin the wedding. He then shuts everyone up by threatening to expose their secrets in the new gossip magazine and will make up lies about all of them. Soon Shinzo and Katana arrive on stage for the wedding. Taiyo then decides to get Alpha and Hifumi involved to rescue Shinzo from the fake marriage.
He soon plays a video of Takemi going on about how he wished for Shinzo and Katana’s marriage even though it was through coercion rather than a genuine wish. He then says whoever edited the video is getting demoted. Taiyo soon realizes that having those two marry is his way of giving them a happy future. Kyoichirou soon attacks him when Alexandryu tries confronting Shinzo, and then says he will publish everyone's dirty secrets. A fight between all the gold-ranked spies breaks out and Taiyo and his children get to work stopping the fight before they take down Alexandryu.
Alpha and Hifumi soon stand up and get a letter and a song going for the wedding, this confuses everyone in the room. Alexandryu then believes Taiyo is planning something, and lets the twins read the letter. The idea was to weaken Alexandryu so his secret would get exposed, Katana put on a performance and revealed that he let Takemi die, because the people who kidnapped him didn’t give any information to him, and she believes Takemi doesn’t blame him one bit for what happened. Katana tells him how stupid he is for believing she wants a new family because he believed he stole her old one. Shinzo then stands up for himself but Alexandryu puts him in his place and says he won’t let anyone interfere with their “happiness”.
He then tries forcing the twins back in their seats, but then Taiyo decides to fight him right then and there. He then threatens to kill Taiyo right then and there, Taiyo tries talking him out of going through with the wedding, but he tries attacking him. Alexandryu then interviews him by exposing a secret of Taiyo’s during the fight. He then threatens to let the story slip but Mutsumi immediately shuts him down and says it’s fake and says it was a spy trying to target Taiyo and pretending to be a fan of the Yozakura Family. Kengo reveals that the anonymous tip was him, and Alexandryu gets frustrated. Taiyo then tells him about how he loves his family and punches him.
Taiyo then uses true Spring Blooming and spars with Alexandryu once more. He then reveals he won’t back down because of Takemi’s death and that certain events won’t happen if he didn’t let him die. Taiyo then stops him and the fight ends, and he accepts his loss. When confronted after the fight about the true meaning behind the marriage, he states that he did an investigation at the Spy HQ and found a registration letter that talked about the Yozakura Family and candidate replacements, but it read more like a will. Soon after being asked about all of this Kyoichirou came to the conclusion that this was all a way to provoke the family and then send data from their response to the account. Dr. Mozu soon sucks Alexandryu into the ground after saying he loves them all and he goes away. Alexandryu then joins Asa’s side to get Takemi back to life.
Soon after he does, he finds out Asa birthed the children using Rei's heart and Tsubomi's limbs, and that Asa called the children his life. He couldn't talk freely since he was under constant supervision from Asa, but he managed to figure out that Asa was doing this for division purposes, which is a blooming that lets one split their soul. He then reveals Asa put his heart into the other kids to test immortality.
Super Yozakura Festival Arc[]
Alexandryu goes to confront Shinzo and Kengo and tells Shinzo that he didn't recall raising him to be such a pathetic man after chasing them and crushing some Kengo dolls. He then says he released Dr. Mozu right on schedule and she went to acquire information from Shion and Nanao. Hulang then appears to join the fight and helps Ryu to try and defeat both Shinzo and Kengo.
He tells Shinzo during the fight that they should have a little fun when he asks why he split up him and Kengo, Shinzo states it's to settle things on their own. Soon the real fight begins between him and Kazu VS Shinzo. He tells Shinzo not to let his flames burn too far because it's dangerous, the fight continues between the both of them. Ryu then says that everyones splitting up and Asa's occupied with his own battle, he then pulls out a gun and unexpectedly shoots Kazu. Shinzo gets confused and he tells him to be quiet, he then says that there's a big scoop to dig up. He then reveals how Asa built the children to Shinzo, and reveals he called them his life. He then explains the pieces of the puzzle more to Shinzo on what the answer could be.
Kazu then realizes what's going on and that his heart is also Asa's heart. He calls Asa an ugly man, and reveals that Momo visited a talented gunsman and made a bullet that cancels out any Yozakura power, and that it should pierce Asa's heart. Asa takes control of Kazu's body and asks Ryu if he still loves Takemi, and he still does but he then betrays Asa and says he would never tarnish the love with something as crass as ressurrection. He then says the Yozakura Family is precious toward him, and then says he won't let Asa take them. Asa then uses Kazu's body to kill him right then and there. He then tells Shinzo to apologize to Katana for him, and that she'll understand everything. He then passes away briefly.
However, Shinzo activates a blooming in which he regenerates after Asa shot him.
