Alexey Ivanovich is the secondary antagonist of the Film from the studio Melnitsa "Fortress: Shield and Sword". He is a spy who betrayed Russia and sided with the Poles, along the way prevents Russia from resisting, then kills a priest's son Fedor to preserve the secret of his identity.

Before the events of the movie[]
Probably, when Sigismund the Third planned to capture Russia, his uncle decided to stock up on a spy and Alexey Ivanovich became him, who was familiar with the Leader Mikhail Shein before the events of the series, but Alexey betrayed his homeland and, with the help of knowledge about underground tunnels, was able to cross the battlefields unnoticed through him.
Fortress: Shield and Sword[]
Alexey appears with Mikhail Shein, and together with him they are looking for people for the war, and he and others mock Sasha's attempt to join the squad. After a long time has passed, Sasha comes to the towers to get some gunpowder, but Alexey Ivanovich turns out to be there, who managed to spoil the gunpowder and almost disappeared, when suddenly Sasha sees the rope and tries to stretch it, and Alexey Ivanovich pierces the rope with a knife and runs away, but leaves his cross, which Sasha takes away. When Sasha asks Fyodor about the cross, Fyodor almost tells him who asked him to find the cross, when suddenly a Polish cannon shoots, causing Sasha to run away, and Fyodor is grabbed by a Clerk and kills him and hides the boy's corpse.

Alexey Ivanovich is first shown as a kind warrior who fights for Russia, but then his side reveals itself and shows that he is a monster and a traitor who betrayed and insensitively killed Fedor, just because he was a witness, it shows that he is quite careful and covers up all his tracks so as not to get caught, while he has high intelligence and knows underground passages, which helps him a lot.
