Alexey Mikhailovich Somov is a villain from the Russian TV series Glukhar. A criminal businessman engaged in illegal business. For a long time, FSB and police officers cannot catch him, since there is no evidence of his illegal trade.
He was portrayed by Yuri Mesevrenko.
Biography[]
Due to some random circumstances, Denis Antoshin had to temporarily resign from the police and go to work for the criminal businessman Alexey Somov, to work undercover for him and pass on information about his illegal activities to the FSB officers. Karpov did not like this idea right away, because Denis is not prepared and sooner or later he could give himself away. But this did not happen. Antoshin gradually gained Somov's trust. Denis also met Somov's daughter Katya, who has a strained relationship with her father and who is a lesbian (it was painful for Somov to believe this). After some time, Somov fell in love with Antoshin as his own son, and Antoshin began to respect him more than Karpov. Meanwhile, Karpov and the FSB officers find out that Somov has his own man in the FSB named Zhora. This Zhora began to suspect Antoshin. Karpov kills Zhora to protect Denis. Somov later asks Denis to marry Katya to pass on the inheritance to his children. Katya leaves for London, because she did not want to get married. Karpov and the FSB meanwhile catch Somov's people with illegal goods. Denis saves Somov, taking him to a safe place and confessing that he is a cop. Upon learning this, Somov initially wanted to shoot Denis, but the operatives arrive, led by Karpov, and Karpov kills Somov.
