Ali Kırgız, also known as the Pliers, is one of the two deuteragonists (with Eyşan) of the Turkish Drama series Ezel.
He was once with the same neighbourhood as Ömer, Cengiz and Eyşan. He was almost like a big brother to three of them and always helped them when they needed him, especially to Ömer. However, that all changed when Eyşan came up with a plan to imprison Ömer. Even though he first denied to be a part in this plan, when he learned that his father was getting out of jail, he did partake in the robbery so that he wouldn't disappoint his father even more as a nobody. However, after being a businessman he visited his parents and find out that his father was crippled and couldn't talk normally, or even recognize his son. That caused Ali to have a breakdown and when he failed in the business, he came back to Cengiz and started to work for him as the hotel's security chief.
