Biography
Alistair was fired from MIT and Stanford for conducting ethically-challenging research and frequently clashed with supervisors. He was later hired by Lex Luthor due to his head-strong personality and his vast knowledge of cybernetics.
Dr. Kreig was head of a project that dealt with near-dead automobile accident victims, but used them as test subjects by attempting to outfit them with bionic parts.
He supervised the experiments on the results. His first successful subject was Victor Stone, a former football star but was held captive, and experimented on. Victor managed to escape the facility with help from Dr. Hong and went to look for his girlfriend.
Knowing of Victor's girlfriend, Dr. Kreig and Lex arranged a trap for him at Katherine Goodwin's house. When Victor arrived he found Kreig and more agents there waiting for him. They forced him to go with him or they will harm Katherine and he agreed.
When he exits, it was revealed that Lex set him up, knowing he would show up. They took him back to the SynTechnics lab where Lex informed Victor of SynTechnics' plans to insert a microchip into his brain that would strip him of all human emotions, essentially turning him into a robot for all intents and purposes.
Just as Dr. Krieg was about to drill into Victor's head, Clark Kent broke into the lab and rescued him using his super-speed. Kreig stood shocked not knowing what happened. Lex later shut down Syntechnics lab off-screen since he was being investigated and exposed.
