Past[]

Chapter 407

The birth of the Shigaraki siblings.

During a time where Quirks were unheard of and uncommon, a mysterious, sinister being was born with a powerful Quirk that allowed him to steal other Quirks. Alongside with his younger twin brother, Yoichi, he had been born on a riverbank from a sickly sex worker, who had been suffering from dealing with growths on her left arm and living an unhealthy lifestyle. Right after his birth, their mother immediately died, leaving him and his brother alone to fend for themselves in the world. From the moment of his birth, he had been born with hubris and a sense of disrespect for others, believing the world only exists to belong to him, as he begins trying to eat his dead mother. Right around as rats crawled around to gnaw on them and their mother's corpse, the nearby flooding river swept him and his twin brother away as they begin fending for themselves, as he names his younger brother Yoichi for being his first ever possession.

A year later, the child had lived long enough to see the emergence of Quirks popping up around the world, initially going by the name "Meta Abilities". It was around this time that the Luminescent Baby had been documented as the first official case of these emerging Meta Abilities and a lot of theories went around, with one research group hypothesizing that they were the result of a "novel disease" and that those with these Meta Abilities were considered a subbranch of humanity with new genetic factors. This led to the child living in a world divided in chaos.

Child All For One and Yoichi

The older brother abusing Yoichi for his defiance.

Eventually, he came across a group of soldiers, who had been dealing with the Meta humans. Despite taking pity on him, the soldiers believed him to be a carrier of the "disease", leading him to slaughter their entire group with the Meta Ability he had stolen from his mother, which initially was believed to be a disease she had been suffering from. He viewed all those that wouldn't turn to him when he was upset and provide him anything with utter distrust. With his Meta Ability he had from birth, he stole many more Meta Abilities from people before killing them. As his younger brother watched him in horror, begging him to stop, he kicked him in response. Despite offering no value to him, the child kept his brother around as a possession of his that he had no intention of letting go.

Despite the mistreatment, Yoichi refused to give up on his older brother and wanted to believe from his faint memories that the grip he offered him was kind and gentle. The two brothers did eventually bond over their newfound interest of comic books, with Yoichi liking the ones featuring a fictional superhero named "Captain Hero", being inspired to be like him one day. The older brother in return took similar interests and read those comics with him.

Three years later, the brothers continued to live in the world as it dwelled into further chaos over the Meta Abilities. It was around this time that the Luminescent Baby had grown popular enough to start their own campaign of leading the world to a peaceful place, with at least 10 million followers supporting them. This caught the attention of the older brother, who began to grow disdain for the Luminescent Baby's popularity, given that 50 babies with Meta Abilities were born in India, two weeks prior to its birth. Believing that they didn't deserve such rights, he proceeded to kill the Luminescent Baby, before stealing their Meta Ability.

When he informed Yoichi of this news, he was shocked to hear that he would do such a thing and asked him why, in which his response was what those comic books had taught them; "One For All" and "All For One." Words to live by. As Yoichi was inspired to become the hero in that comic, the older brother was inspired to become the wicked demon lord that everyone paid tribute to, having discovered his dream of wanting the world purely to himself.

Sensei past self

The man that would later become known as the Symbol of Evil.

The older brother, now going by the name of his Quirk, "All For One", continued to steal many more Quirks from people. His overwhelming power would help him rise in rank, allowing him to become Japan's ruler, submitting its people by force. Using his overwhelming power, as well as his manipulative personality, he raised the ranks in Japan and ruled from the shadows, forcing people to submit to him.

Yoichi, however, refused to submit to his evil ways. All For One explained to him that he's simply trying to help people by granting them powers for them to accomplish their dreams, especially those that are weak. He believes that he is trying to restore order to the world, but his brother didn't want to hear it. He then demonstrates his power on two people that wanted their dreams fulfilled, a man who wished to have his mutated jaw removed and a man that wanted power. Once he granted them their desires, they genuinely thanked him, hoping to repay him. Despite all of this, Yoichi could see that he was merely submitting them to his will.

Yoichi attempted to stop his brother but was subdued by All For One's bodyguard. While All For One disliked Yoichi for appearing sickly and weak, he still loved him nonetheless, as he was his only family left and had him imprisoned rather than killed. He found out that Yoichi refused to eat anything he gave him, hence his scrawny appearance. All For One then tells him about the successes and dreams that have come true, similar to how it was like in the comics they used to read together, but Yoichi tells him that there was more to those stories and that the villains would ultimately lose to the heroes. All For One reminded him that this was reality and that reality does not work the same as it does in those comics, but Yoichi did not want to hear it. All For One then decided that, out of pity for Yoichi as well as in order to gain his submission, he would give him a Quirk that can stockpile in power. Unknown to the two of them, however, Yoichi had a dormant Quirk that could be passed down to others. The two Quirks fused together, creating the Quirk known as "One For All".

All For One's Past Appearance

All For One prepares to kill Nana Shimura.

At some point, Kudo, leading a resistance againts All For One and his army, rescues Yoichi and attempts to flee with him. All For One, distraught and enraged over his possession attempting to leave him, kills Yoichi in a fit of rage. However, Yoichi proceeds to pass this quirk down to Kudo, beginning One For All’s legacy of going down generations.

All For One would then devote himself to obtaining Yoichi's powers always battling and killing the successor as it passed down through generations. All For One at one point managed to corner Kudo after faking tears to bait him into lowering his guard for All for One to choke him to death. Out of spite for Kudo giving Yoichi a life outside of being his brother, All for One kills Kudo's family and all women & children near him so that Kudo's bloodline and memory can be destroyed.

All For One would then kill his way through most of the wielders of One For All, but would be unable to steal the quirk. It wasn’t until his battles with the 5th user, Daigoro “Lariat” Banjo and the 6th user, En “Smoke-Eater” Taiyutai that he realized in order to steal One For All, he needed a strength of will stronger than the wielder’s own, a trait he did not possess himself. All For One would eventually reach Nana Shimura. who fought hard against All For One. Despite her best efforts, she was eventually killed by him, but not before she was able to pass down her power to Toshinori Yagi. Toshinori would later become the Pro Hero known as All Might and eventually kill All For One in a brutal battle, but unknown to him, All For One was revived by Ujiko.

Since then, All For One has remained hidden in the shadows, recovering from his injuries. In the meantime, he met Kotaro Shimura and befriended him. He convinced him to become a strict father and have a young boy named Tenko Shimura. All For One stole Tenko’s quirk and had Ujiko copy Kai Chisaki (who he took into a twisted daycare)'s Quirk but removed the restorative ability, later giving Tenko Decay when one day when he was walking him home. This leads Tenko accidentally killing his own family and was eventually left alone underneath a bridge, where All For One took him in. He offered him a room with toys and games, as well as the hands of his deceased family members and two crooks he killed. Naming him "Tomura Shigaraki", All For One began preparing to raise the young boy as his successor, as well as a giant behemoth to serve as his personal bodyguard.

At some point, he was at Sekota Peak and found the charred and unconscious body of Toya Todoroki whose quirk had spiral out of control. He saw potential in the young boy in carrying his legacy, taking him to his lair where he was put through a serious procedure that put his body back together, but the damage done to his organs made All For One refuse to take him under his wing. Instead, he was placed in the same daycare where Chisaki and the other kids were, where Toya remained comatose for three years until he was finally awoken bit ran away after setting the building ablaze.

Years later, he blackmailed the Aoyama family to work for him, forcing their son, Yuga Aoyama, to be the U.A. mole after giving him the Navel Laser Quirk.

Unforeseen Simulation Joint Arc[]

After Tomura's failure at attempting to kill All Might at the U.A.'s USJ, Tomura was brought back to the hideout with Kurogiri. Tomura complained to his master, saying that the plan was ultimately a failure. His master, speaking on screen, tells him that nothing went wrong and that this was simply the beginning of Tomura Shigaraki rising to become the greatest fear of society.

U.A. Sports Festival Arc[]

While Tomura watched the U.A. Sports Festival going live, his mentor advised him to specifically observe Izuku Midoriya, stating that in time, he may become a problem that he'll eventually have to deal with.

Vs. Hero Killer Arc[]

When the Hero Killer, Stain, was brought in by the league, he refused to join their ranks and instead attacked them, paralyzing Tomura and Kurogiri with his Quirk. Kurogiri asks if he should try to interfere, but All For One prevents it, stating that this is a good step for Tomura to learn from his mistakes.

After Stain's capture, All For One was satisfied to see with how things are going to plan. He believes that Tomura will be capable of creating a new band of villains and lead them. His doctor, however, expresses doubt, stating that All For One would be able to get things done faster. All For One then says he should hurry up and fix his injuries then. He then states that he will allow Tomura to continue on acting his successor, saying that All Might should celebrate while he can, for his time is about to come to an end.

Hideout Raid Arc[]

When Katsuki Bakugo was kidnapped by the league, he was brought upon by Tomura, who attempted to convince him to join their ranks. Bakugo refused and instead attacked Tomura. With the heroes on their way, Tomura requests his master to lend him his power, in which All For One replies that was a good decision on Tomura's part.

Eventually, All For One decides to take action himself. After the league were raided and pinned by the Pro Heroes and the police, All For One then proceeds to destroy the entire hideout, then begins to send in Nomus to Tomura's aid, after defeating a couple of the Pro Heroes. He is then confronted by Best Jeanist, who managed to reduce the impact of All For One's destruction. All For One was impressed, but nonetheless, he proceeded to beat him down. He refused to take his Quirk and instead leaves him be in his beaten state.

For your sake

All For One tells his apprentice everything is done for his sake.

All For One eventually brings Katsuki and the villains to him, apologizing for all of the chaos occurring. He then confronts Tomura, stating that, while he has failed, he is not disappointed nor angry with him. Instead, he believes that Tomura can continue to improve from this as much as he can.

Light vs Darkness

All For One vs. One For All.

All Might then suddenly appears into the action and begins to clash with his archenemy, ensuing the long waited rematch between the two. All Might ensures him that this time around, he will make sure that All For One is down for good, only for him to be blasted away by the villain. All For One then proceeds to use Kurogiri's Warp Gate and sends the villains off for them to escape, including Tomura.

All For One then proceeds to engage All Might in a battle once more, using Gran Torino as a meat shield to take All Might's attacks. While doing so, he expresses his hatred for the hero that brought him and his comrades down in society and ensures that he will suffer greatly. All Might eventually manages to get Gran Torino out of the way, then proceeds to attack All For One, destroying his mask.

Sensei Broken Mask (2)

All For One expresses his sadism.

All For One then begins to taunt All Might, in order to psychologically break him down. He mentions his deceased mentor, Nana Shimura and how much of a failure she was, causing All Might to build in rage. After expressing how she died a meaningless death, All Might prepared to attack him once more, only to be blasted away. All For One then expresses that he does not simply just want to kill him, but for him to die slowly in the most painful and gruesome way possible. All For One then sends another blast at him, only for it to be blocked away. However, in the process, All For One was able to reduce him to his true form, revealed to the public eye.

All For One Grand Combo

All For One's boost in power.

Despite this, All Might continues the fight, believing that he still holds hope inside his frail body. Finally, All For One decides to destroy his morality completely by revealing him the shocking truth; Tomura Shigaraki is Shimura's grandson. This causes All Might to be reduced in a devastated state, in which All For One mocks him at how he suddenly lost his smile, the shining hope he would bring to people. However, All Might was eventually able to recover the trauma from the motivation gained by both the Pro Heroes and the civilians around him. Thus, this encourages All Might to go all out, once and for all. All For One then decides to go all out as well, using a variety of the Quirks he's stolen to give him a tremendous boost in power.

United States of SMASH!!!!!

All Might finishes off All For One.

In an intense battle, All Might was eventually able to finish off All For One with his final finishing move; United States of Smash. The impact of the move caused All For One to be knocked out for the time being. As a result of the battle, All Might eventually lost all the remnants of One For All in him.

All For One was later placed in Tartarus, a special security maximum prison for supervillains where even the death penalty is not a good punishment. During his time, All For One expresses joy, stating that he was not upset about his lost against All Might and instead believes that he actually won. Because of the current state he is in, All For One believes that Tomura's hatred for All Might will continue to grow even stronger and in time, he will become strong enough to inherit his power.

Hero License Exam Arc[]

Old Scores

Settling old scores.

During his time in Tartarus, All For One eventually received a visit from his archenemy, All Might, who decided that it was time to settle old scores in a conversation. All For One talks about how tight the security is, in which he believes the prison is modeled in the form of Tartarus. All For One then proceeds to taunt All Might, asking if he's still working as a hero, much to All Might's annoyance. All Might simply demands him for Shigaraki's location, but All For One states he has no clue. All Might wishes to know what he's even trying to accomplish behind all of this.

All For One explains to him that he and him are essentially alike. While All Might aims to be a hero a justice, All For One aims to be a king of evil and that he wishes to continue these ideologies of his own for eternity. Confused, All Might asks why he even bothered with a successor, in which All For One laughs, stating that it's because All Might took everything away he built.

All Might and All For One confront.

"How does it all feel?"

All For One then quickly requests about how society is currently functioning, now that All Might is retired. All Might refuses to exchange any info, but nonetheless, All For One makes a prediction in which society is currently living in fear and is slowly losing trust in their heroes. He believes that those that have been casted aside from society will step up to shape society in their images. All For One then asks how All Might feels, knowing that he can't do anything else at this point.

Despite everything that All For One's stated, All Might is not affected by his words. Instead, he will make sure that his vision of society never happens and that he will still remain alive to see it. All Might then leaves his cell, telling him that he can remain sitting there for the rest of his life. As he leaves, All For One begins to chuckle.

Pro Hero Arc[]

As All For One continues to remain being locked up in Tartarus, he later revealed that he cannot give Quirks back to their original wielders once a certain time has passed up. He expresses joy in how he can't help himself, as it's a bad habit of his. The moment he sees a good Quirk, he takes the opportunity of claiming and using it before time of it being returned runs out.

Paranormal Liberation War Arc[]

Tomura struggles to resist All For One's control

All For One attempting to take control of Tomura.

During the events between the war of heroes and villains, Naomasa and Gran Torino had approached All For One in regards to Kurogiri, after finding out he was made from the corpse of Oboro Shirakumo. When asked how exactly he was making the Nomus, All For One described the process similar to how wine is produced.

Later during the day, a vestige of All For One appears within Tomura's mind, who is currently unconscious inside his container for the time being. It is here that All For One reveals to Tomura that the surgery performed on him gave him access to the original version of his Quirk, as All For One has been using a duplicated version this entire time. As Tomura approaches him, vestiges of his family try to pull him back, but he simply shrugs them off and proceeds to head towards his master.

Eventually, Tomura awakens from his state and gains access to All For One's Quirk. During his battle with the heroes, however, Tomura begins to hear All For One's voice in his head as he utters strange statements such as referring to Izuku as his "little brother." All For One tells him to claim One For All from Izuku Midoriya, but Tomura refuses, as he intends to start his own path of villainy, one that will allow him to become greater than All For One.

Afterwards, Tomura continues to battle the heroes once more. He sustains serious injuries from Endeavor's attacks, but nonetheless, is still able to stand. All For One then takes this opportunity to take control of his body. As a result, using Tomura's body, All For One proceeds to use his Forced Quirk Activation within his original Quirk. In doing so, he manages to stab through Katsuki Bakugo. He then grabs Izuku himself, in which he sends him into a realm where he watches Tomura being restrained by All For One. Nana Shimura then appears alongside with Izuku, much to All For One's surprise, as he mocks her for being pathetic and incompetent. He then explains the situation they are in where he has heard people who change after having organ transplants and he's the strangest of the bunch, in which he experiences dreams where he hears the voices of the people whose Quirks he's stolen from, causing him to feel discouraged and guilt.

However, once he let go of that Quirk, those voices were gone from his head. All For One believes that Quirk factors as a whole contain a consciousness of its original wielder and compares it to how organs contain the DNAs of others. He also believed that, with his particular Quirk, he was unique among everyone as he could combine Quirks with others and interact with those voices.

All For One then came to realize that his brother possessed this very same trait with One For All as he passed down the consciousness of his and others to future generations. All For One then notes of Tomura's hatred towards both him and his grandmother, much to his amusement as his anger is causing the will of One For All to crumble away. All For One's brother then appears, and together, he and Nana try to resist Tomura's rage as they wish to stay with Izuku Midoriya. All For One then decides that he and Tomura should combine their powers together so that they can accomplish their goal in stripping One For All away from Izuku. However, the heroes manage to resist against the villains' will, causing Izuku and Tomura to be separated from each other.

All For One ready to recover his original body

All For One plans to free his main body.

Realizing their plan has somewhat backfired, All For One tells Tomura that he must retreat for the time being, in order to let his body regain its full strength, but Tomura refuses. Despite this, Tomura's body ends up falling unconscious. Eventually, Gigantomachia arrives to the battle with the rest of the remaining forces. Spinner manages to take Tomura away from the field while Dabi and Gigantomachia fight off against the heroes. All For One then takes control of Tomura's body once more, as he notes of his loyal allies and his hatred that fuels his power to greater lengths.

Eventually, Dabi, Spinner and Skeptic managed to escape with Tomura's body, as All For One sent out Near High-End Nomus to battle off against the heroes, while the remaining Near High-End Nomus helped them leave the battlefield. Still under the possession of All For One, All For One plots to break into Tartarus with the Near High-End Nomus to free his main body.

Current Arc[]

Tomura reunites with his old master

All For One freed from his imprisonment.

Under the possession of All For One, Tomura eventually arrives at the prison by riding on a flying Nomu, where he begins to regain control and tries to fight All For One for control over his body. Tomura says that he won't be All For One's pawn, but the latter assures him that he is more than a pawn to him, that he will become the "next me." All For One then finds his body deep underground underneath sea level, noting that the water pressure will kill him and Tomura's body is weakening, so he requires the other villains. He plans a cooperative operation with a shared awareness between the prisoners and proceeds to break out all of the prisoners from their cell blocks, including himself. All For One succeeds in recovering his own body, and reunites with Tomura, proclaiming that he will become the greatest demon lord of all.

With his newfound allies and his army of Near High-End Nomus, All For One continued to expand his forces by raiding seven more prisons, breaking out many dangerous inmates in doing so. All For One then meets Lady Nagant and offers her the task of capturing Midoriya. Nagant initially refuses until All For One informs her that, so long as Midoriya is around, the society she desires will not come to past. He then sees Kai Chisaki, who rambles about how he wants to see his boss, in which All For One asks if he is a friend of hers. Nagant replies she isn't and that she broke him out, seeing him of use can be use. All For One states Chisaki is "another victim of the evil hero society" and gives Nagant "Air Walk" to help her capture Deku.

In possession of Tomura's body once more, All For One communicates with Dabi, Spinner, and Skeptic, celebrating the success of their groundwork and asks that they guard Tomura's body. When Spinner asks who he really is, All For One assures him to have no fear and that he respects Tomura's will, that he simply needs more time for Tomura's body to be perfected.

During Lady Nagant's confrontation with Izuku, the hero recognizes that she didn't aim straight at Overhaul when threatening to kill him, and she gave him the opportunity to surrender instead of attacking him on sight. He concluded that Nagant wasn't completely with All For One and she still had good in her. Combined with how he saved both her and Overhaul's lives despite what they've done, Lady Nagant began to believe in true heroism again. Unfortunately, All For One knew in advance that Deku would get through to her, so he triggered an explosion within Nagant's body, all the while boasting about how she was nothing more than a tool to him due to her useful Quirk.

When Lady Nagant regained consciousness, she confessed that she was tasked by All For One to send Izuku to a mansion in Haibori Woods, an abandoned base of the Creature Rejection Clan, and All For One had recruited many more villains to assist his goals. Later, Izuku went to the mansion accompanied by the strongest Pro Heroes to confront All For One, knowing that he couldn't steal One For All from him yet. Upon entering the mansion, he was greeted with a pre-recorded message from All For One, who anticipated that he would show mercy to Lady Nagant. He talks about his philosophy of how hero society labels select people as villains because they had a bad hand in life, and egalitarian values don't matter because social inequality has always been a concept for all social organisms. He taunts Izuku about how he slowly wears down with every battle, and how he's moved on from All Might and focused on him instead, before triggering an explosion to destroy the entire mansion, saying it's his turn.

All For One discussing his plans with Spinner

All For One briefing his plans with Spinner.

All For One recuperated with Spinner, telling him to guard Tomura's body while commending Skeptic's campaign to paint the public's perception of the League of Villains in a sympathetic light, and informing him that the American Pro Hero, Star and Stripe, was the strongest threat to his goal and acquiring her Quirk would resolve his problems. Once Tomura's body fully regenerated, he rode on a flying Nomu to face Star and Stripe and her fleet of pilots. Star and Stripe used her Quirk, New Order, to warp reality in an attempt to stop the supervillain, and made an ultimatum to kill "Tomura" by stopping his heart if his body moved. However, as Star and Stripe’s understanding of the target’s identity must line up with the target’s, it failed due to Tomura being unsure of his identity as All For One began to take over. All For One assessed the properties of New Order and expressed his joy towards obtaining her powerful Quirk. He then told Tomura that his plan for him all along was to merge with his body to become a superior being, to Tomura's horror. Star and Stripe unleashed her "State-of-the-Art Hypersonic Intercontinental Cruise Punch" at him, causing a massive explosion with a crater, but it turned out that "Tomura" used Decay to dig into the ground, thinking that any second earlier would've been fatal. Star and Stripe's fellow pilots told her that the only way to stop him would be to sacrifice her own life, but she could not pull herself to, causing "Tomura" to take the opportunity to grab her face and steal New Order.

Unfortunately for him, Star and Stripe placed one last change onto New Order that would cause it to turn on Shigaraki, resulting in New Order’s phantom attacking Shigaraki, tearing him apart from the inside out. Much to his dismay, All For One is only able to give and take Quirks, not outright destroy them. Shigaraki frantically escaped back to land in an attempt to ditch New Order on someone else and come back for it later, but it had self destructed by the time he found someone to leave it with, permanently dashing All For One’s hopes of obtaining the godlike Quirk. Defeated, Shigaraki retreated back to their hideout, where All For One comforted Shigaraki and told him to rest and regenerate.

Some time later, All For One continues the process of merging his vestige consciousness with Shigaraki’s, while simultaneously mutating Tomura’s body to a more stable form capable of handling his Quirks. Dabi asks when they will make their move, with All For One explaining that as someone who has lived for centuries, he plans out every possible outcome and path for his schemes years, even decades in advance, to such an extent he reveals he even has a spy within U.A. Later, All For One appoints Spinner as the public face of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Shortly after, All For One informs his minions that they will make their move now.

The Return of All For One

All For One's arrival.

Shortly before making his move, he reminisces on a lie-detecting Quirk he stole during the early age of Quirks, and contacts Yuga Aoyama’s parents and uses a strange code to confirm Yuga’s location. Meanwhile, Yuga meets up with Izuku and explains All For One’s true plan: collapse the entire world’s economy and cut off access to essential resources such as water and power, leaving him, with Quirks capable of creating such resources, as the only one capable of producing the necessities for everyday life so he may cement himself as the unquestionable ruler of Earth, who everyone must obey and rely on. From behind Yuga, All For One appears and thanks Yuga for his cooperation, and prepares to attack Izuku. Aoyama solemnly apologizes for betraying Deku again, telling him that he has to protect for his family, before turning around and firing a Navel Laser at All For One.

Easily deflecting the beam, All For One stumbles backwards in surprise at the Aoyamas deceiving him in spite of his lie-detecting Quirk, as Izuku praises Yuga for his acting. Angered, All For One declares that it’s too late anyway, and seeking to overwhelm Izuku and finally steal One For All, he opens up thousands of Warp Gates and summons the entire Paranormal Liberation Front. Just then, All For One notices another Warp Gate appearing next to Izuku, and assumes Kurogiri must have broken out of jail somehow. However, Neito Momota steps out the gate, revealing to have copied Kurogiri’s Quirk, before using the copied Warp Gate to summon a vast multitude of heroes to battle All For One and his forces.

All For One prepares his mind games

All For One prepares to battle Endeavor and Hawks.

Suddenly, the hero’s trap is sprung, and the villains are encased within many metal domes. Although they easily break out, the several seconds it takes to escape allows Momota to open Warp Gates in each of the domes, scattering the villains (and the heroes assigned to fight them) to various places around Japan to be fought separately. All For One is teleported to Gunga Mountain, and is pursued by Endeavor and Hawks. The latter immediately attacks All For One’s life-support mask, having already deduced it as a weakness. Unfortunately, the device in unscathed, prompting All For One to taunt the duo for their hubris, while criticizing their plan to split everyone up, leaving Endeavor and Hawks to fight by themselves. Continuously taunting Endeavor for his crimes, he activates his arsenal of Quirks and begins to fight.

The two heroes are unable to damage the Demon Lord, who recognizes their strategy of attack his mask. Still holding the upper hand, All for One soon reveals to Endeavor that it was him that found and rescued Toya years ago, which led to his family thinking he was dead. Flying into a rage, Endeavor attempts to attack All For One, only to get a part of his torso torn off and thrown to the ground. He then prepares to kill Hawks, but is interrupted by Kyoka Jiro and Fumikage Tokoyami. All For One mentions how in the manga he once read, there were always “jobber” characters that only existed for the villain to kill as a show of power and dismisses the students as those jobber characters.

All For One realizes that he should hurry and reunite with Tomura, and that the students are stalling for Endeavor to get back up. He launches several projectiles at Kyoka, which are intercepted by Hawks, who retaliates by launching a feather which slightly cracks All For One’s mask. Using one arm to restrain Hawks, he uses the other to launch another attack at Jiro, who he mocks as a mere extra. Despite having an ear blown off by the attack, she continues to fight and unleashes her Ultimate move.

While All For One is unscathed by this attack, he discovers that the vestiges of his stolen Quirks have begun to fight back, effectively immobilizing the Demon Lord. In disbelief over this unprecedented complication, he ponders how a mere extra like Kyoka could provoke such a reaction, when not even New Order had caused something like this. Hawks and Jiro combien their attacks to heavily damage All For One’s mask, which is then completely destroyed by Fumikage’s Dark Shadow. Realizing that replacing his true quirk with an inferior clone has diminished his control over the vestiges, he quickly regains control by mentally devouring said vestiges.

Hawk’s attempt to land a killing blow is interrupted by the Demon Lord, who unleashes a volley of Rivet Stabs. Hawks is injured, while All For One uses several quirks to attempt to repair his mask, only to be attacked by a returning Endeavor. All For One’s resumed taunting of Endeavor’s sins falls on deaf ears, as the Flame Hero continues his onslaught. With his many injuries from his two battles with All Might, combined with his life-support mask being demolished, All For One’s body is in critical condition, and thus unable to fight back against Endeavor.

Remembering his defeat by The United States Of Smash, he’s blasted down towards the forest while being dragged by the Flame Hero. All For One attempts to steal Hellflame, but is prevented when Endeavor scorches his hands. Calling Endeavor a monster who only ruins people’s future, Endeavor acknowledges this to be true, but responds that it could be said for both of them. With a Prominence Burn, All For One is seemingly defeated and reduced to a charred corpse.

AFO RE

All For One fully reborn.

Suddenly, the corpse begins to speak. Noting his body’s poor condition and it having served it’s purpose, he reveals that he would try something risky anyway. Seemingly utilizing Eri’s Rewind somehow, an ear and an eye begin to emerge from his head, with All For One noting that just like heroes, villains are also most dangerous when cornered. He points out that during the Paranormal Liberation War, the villains were stuck on the defensive. Since heroes are people who defend and villains are people that attack, they are once again in their element. Declaring that he will finally plunge into his dream, All For One’s body is fully restored.

After taking the Quirk of a nearby hero and cape to cover himself, All For One rejoices at having his body back to normal. However, he noted that he will soon rewind until he is non-existent, thus he decided to ensure that he takes full control over Tomura before he fully disappears. Hawks, attempting to stall time, asks All for One on what his plan for One for All is, to which he reveals that in a world filled with various standards and cultures, All for One intends to do the one crime that will violate all of them, by decimating humanity's future and make them all his subjects and slaves. He declares that people's upbringing is defined by their experiences on a young age, referencing to Spinner who he reveals was organizing Kurogiri's release, and that he placed a chip on Nana Shimura's hand to nsure that he is active no matter his state. Which works as with Kurogiri's release, all that remains of the League are transported to the battlefield and forcing a retreat. Laughing at how everything is to his favour now, and figures that Kurogiri has warped himself to Tomura's location while thinking of taking Warp Gate for himself, as its superior to his sludge Warping Quirk.

Taking advantage over the chaos to get to Tomura, he is blocked by Hawks, who pokes fun at how All for One doesn't seem to confident on Tomura's perfect body. He then attempts to lambast Hawks by reminding him that Endeavor already lost his arm and that he's supposed to try stopping him than abandoning his post, to which hawks assesses he already lost to him before. As the battle rages on within Tomura's body, All for One's control over him waned, to which TOmrua sets himself free from All for One's possession as he finally makes his hatred for All For One grooming him to be nothing mroe than his pawn to take control over through mind, body and soul as he declares his ultimate wish to destroy society itself. Irritated, All for One demands Kurogiri to transport him there, much to his lack of compliance as he was programmed to follow only Tomura.

Still trying to escape Hawks' pursuit in the GUnga Hills, explaining how he was suppsoed to have full control over Tomura's body rather than fusing him or creating the new personality, but nonetheless is heading to Tomura to absorb his Quirk Factor to create the "Ultimate Demon Lord", to which Hawks snarks that it is their story than just his to be free to do as he pleases. All for One then destroys Hawks' body to which it is revealed it was nothing mroe than a ere illusion by Camie Utsumushi as reinforcements arrive. But All for one still overpowers all of them as he arrogantly asserts how foolish the heroes are to face him as they have no idea to now how powerful he as in his prime as he injures many heroes and proceeds to stela their quirks. But he then senses a dark presence behidn him as Fumikage activates his quirk Dark Shadow and pulverize him, to which All for One initiates an explosion that weakens Dark Shadow, ranting about how obnoxious they are as Rewind make shim even mroe younger. Now free, All for One blasts his way out of the battlefield.

But the heres refuse to escape to which Gigantomachia appears. All for One then orders Gigantomachia to attack them, but is instead attacked by him instead, revealed to be udner the contorl of Hitoshi Shinso and Eijiro Kirishima. All for One then blasts Shinso and Gigantomachia and free the latter. But GIgantomachia was disillusioned with All for One due to All for One abandoning him during the Paranormal Liberation War and viciously attacks him, to which All For One promptly kills him by destroying half of his body using a lightning blast, calling him a dog that must be put down, and knocks Mt. lady down as well. Due to the Rewind, All for One feels his body's deaging becoming mroe and mroe rapid, as he feels due to the influence of "his other self" (Tommura), something dark is welling inside of him, and grows mroe untameable the yonger he becomes. Destroying Dark Shadow and eviscarates Fumikage and Hawks, All For one proceeds his onslaught as he msues how great it is to feel young again while the heroes are laid on the ground bleeding to death or already killed, while All for One proceeds to steal Hawks' quirk for himself. Then Minoru Mineta throws one of his sticky balls at All for one to plead for Fumikage's safety, to which hearing "the howls of the weak" makes All for One realize he is wasting time as he blasts away to reach Tomura.

As he blasts through the ruins of Ido City, he is confronted by All Might, with just a briefcase, much to his surprise. All Might then pokes at how due to Tomura's hatred influencing him, All for One can't ignore him, to which All For One becomes unhinged and attacks All Might to settle the score once and for all. Musing about how All Might is his most persistent obstacle but still his favourite toy, All For One acknowledges he is simply distracting but cannot resist killing him when seeing his smile while All Might prepares Hercules as a suit to protect hismelf and stand toe-to-toe with his hated foe. Annoyed by All Might's persistence as their abttle rages on, All For One realizes he jsut needs to destroy his gadgets to defeat him as gadgets can't go beyond their limits. All Might jokingly agrees as he lands another puncch at All For One, much to his lack of flinching before injecting acid onto All For One that violently reacts with his body and All Might tells he is dissolving away due to Rewind reversing the damage.

As the battle eventually reaches Tatooin Station, as he focuses so more on hunting down and killing All Might once and for all while mocking All Might for being nothing more than a weak man relying on a suit that cheaply imitates his students' quirks. All For One then secretly ambushes All Migth and lands a blow at All Might's stomach and snapping his spine in half. however, All Mgith injects device onto All for One that sends a giant laser bombardement directly onto him. All For One then resists then as he becomes even mroe younger than he already was, stunning All Might as his foe charges towards him as he begins to expand and tauntingly asks All Might if he forgot his smile, but was eventually frozen in place by Stain's Bloodcurdle Quirk, who arrived just in time to help All Might. All for One then uses Forced Quirk Activation to expel all his blood from Stain as he frees himself, even altering his blood type with the Antigen Swap Quirk to ensure Stain can't be able to freeze him again. All For One slams Stain in a building, musing about how he has now served his purpose as he crushes him to death and steals Stain's Quirk.

Managing to destroy Hercules, All For One takes All Might to UA to show the world his failure. But upon remembering Nana Shimura's final moments, he realizes that All Might is attempting to detonate a bomb in his wrist gauntlet to kill All For One and himself, to which he uses the Quirk he was born with to destroy the gauntlet and he uses Bloodcurdle to freeze All Might. He then enjoys the sight he always wanted to see, All Might in absolute despair at his lowest point. Gentle then attempts to assist in fighting All For One, to which he sends a laser at UA, forcing Gentle to keep his hold over it, while he takes down the American jets sent to deal with him. He then prepares to tear All Might in half for the world to see until Katsuki arrives to face All For One once and for all, who with help of Izuku's Gear Shift Quirk, is able to separate All Might and All For One. All For One is angered at being deterred and says he must focus on claiming One For All by taking full and permanent control over Shigaraki as he is nearly out of time.

However, Katsuki persists as he tells he is All For One's final boss. The determination eventually reminds him of Kudo, increasing his anger as he now uses all his anger to finish Katsuki off once and for all. Thinking of jsut warping Katsuki away, he then realizes his onyl 2 available locations are near to him and he can't delay his inevitable confrontation with Tomura any longer. Running out of time, All For One activates his ultimate move to kill Katsuki and take control of Tomura in one fell swoop, "Omni-Factor Unleash: All For One Goal", as he activates every Quirk he ever has and destroy all in his path. However, All For One's rage weakens his control over the Quirk as Hawks' vestige organizes a rebellion, which consolidates Katsuki's explosive attacks on him. Growing more annoyed with Katsuki's attacks, All For One's control over his Quriks are now all gone and now can't mix Quirk factors, leaving him helpless as Katsuki proclaims that this is their tale as he lands the final blow while Hawks' vestige claims that Shigaraki is his downfall. After so much damage to his body, All For One then reverts into a baby.

The End of All For One[]

Despite his current state, All for One, in his desperation, tries to crawl his way to Shigaraki, only to be stopped by Bakugo, who claims that he's not done with him yet and stubbornly refuses to get out of his way. More enraged, All for One fires a spike from his mouth in hopes of killing the boy, but it is revealed that Bakugo caught it with his teeth. Declaring that it was nap time for him, Bakugo explodes the spike and watches All for One as this was game over for him. The vestiges within his body start to glow as he rages over how he failed to destroy all the heroes and how he hated the emotions he was feeling. After so much ranting, All for One then reverts into his fetal form, then an egg before ceasing to exist.

Final Death[]

While his original body was reduced to nothingness, his vestige was still buried inside Tomura. After Tomura lost a battle of wills against Deku, All For One's vestige reemerged and swallowed Tomura. Calling him a "foolish vessel" for losing to a nobody like Deku while laughing. All For One then reveals to a confused Shigaraki that none of the decisions he has made have never been his own, telling Shigaraki the truth of his origin. All For One then deletes Shigaraki’s soul, seemingly killing him. Deku attempts to stop the demon lord, but to no avail. Back in the real world, All For One has taken over the body of his vessel. All For One recognizes that with Yoichi gone, his intermediate plan has failed. He then notices that there is a lingering memory of Shigaraki screaming coming from his voice, which he suppresses by growing a hand over his mouth. With Decay, alongside Shigaraki’s anger and hatred gone, he then moves on to his now hollow and pointless final goal of world domination. Deku tries to pick his body up, but can’t as his arms are now gone. All For One plans to establish the narrative that loss engenders strength, then prepares to destroy Deku, saying that the boy’s end is inevitable for someone who had nothing to lose. However, All For One is stopped by Hanta Sero, with Masahiro Ujiro, Rikido Sato, and Eraser Head joining the fray.

Due to his body disintegrating, All For One, in desperation, contemplates transferring his AFO Quirk to Midoriya or any of the other heroes while additionally trying to keep his body together in utter refusal to die. Midoriya calls out All For One saying that far from the invincible Demon Lord he envisioned himself as, he was instead a lonely man something he angrily tries to deny. Within the vestige world, he sees the final traces of Yoichi and demands to see his face again. However, Yoichi tells him it would be impossible and that it was his time to pay for all his crimes and sins. All For One, for one time in his life, genuinely expresses that he loved his brother but it was much too late for any reconciliation. Yoichi reveals that he was not the only one that Midoriya had woken up with the other users of One For All and a reformed Tomura all rushing at him with Midoriya assisting from the outside. They all collide with All For One with one final punch obliterating the Symbol of Evil and ending his plans to rule the world for good, ending his reign of terror once and for all, and avenging all those who fell to his hands.
