Almedia Family are the main antagonists of the 2009 Godfather 2 game.
they are a Cuban criminal organization that was led by the ruthless Cuban crime lord Esteban Almedia.
History[]
they were a Cuban crime family as they became prominent Esteban Almeida helped Fidel Castro get to power. they are also the archenemies of the Mexican crime family the Granados Family, They later became involved with Hyman Roth, who had been looking for a foothold back into Cuba since the downfall of President Batista. In 1959, Almeida began a war against the Corleone Family after Dominic unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate Castro. However, they were ultimately defeated and wiped out by the Trapani family as revenge for the death of Dominic's mentor Aldo Trapani.
