| ~ Aloysius Pig's catchphrase. |
Aloysius Pig is a supporting antagonist in the cartoon series Garfield and Friends, serving as a supporting antagonist in the show's final season. He is Orson's cousin.
He was voiced by the late Kevin Meaney.
Appearance[]
Out of all of Orson's relatives, Aloysius appears to be the shortest, even being shorter than his cousin. He wears a green vest with green glasses that have yellow lens that obscures his eyes. He wears a blue bowtie as well as a brown hat with a dark brown rim.
Personality[]
Aloysius is a stern and stressed-out busybody who bean-counts and nitpicks every detail, looking for anything that he might consider to be the least bit objectionable or something he just dislikes. He is also critical at those who make any objections to his actions (such as Wade asking him why he was put in charge of the farm or Orson trying to explain a story to him). This comes to the annoyance of the rest of the cast, especially his cousin Orson. His catchphrase is "That's not right!" As a result, everybody on the farm, once they've finally had enough of Aloysius, plots to get rid of him by any means necessary.
Biography[]
Temp Trouble[]
With Orson going on vacation, he leaves his cousin Aloysius to look after the farm. This proves to be a horrible mistake, since Aloysius consistently gives out demerits to Wade and Roy to make sure both aren't doing things he disapproves of, forcing Wade and Roy to team up to get rid of Aloysius by pulling off pranks that'll make him quit his job. All off these fail until they decide to pull off one final trick.
Aloysius shows up just in time for his mother to show up, as Roy and Wade called her earlier about her controlling son. Aloysius's mother then drags her son back home, very disappointed in him for being a cruel dictator.
The Discount of Monte Cristo[]
Aloysius returns to the farm, this time hired by the Garfield and Friends studio to make sure the budget stays safe. As Orson, Roy and Wade begin to imaginate themselves in the story of The Discount of Monte Cristo, Aloysius stops them and warns them about the budget. Throughout the episode, Aloysius constantly keeps track of everything going on to make sure the budget stays in perfect condition, which leads to him infuriating Orson into stopping story, claiming Aloysius has ruined it for everyone.
Afterwards, Orson, Wade and Roy decide to get revenge by making a simplified version of Robinson Crusoe that ends with Aloysius getting what he deserves by being stranded on a deserted island.
Kiddie Korner[]
Aloysius returns, interrupting the gang's performance of the book Dr. Zhivago. Aloysius tells Orson that he's now working for The Network (aka CBS, the channel that airs Garfield and Friends), and for the episode, they need to do nursery rhymes, not because so they can attract younger audiences, but it's because what the Network can only understand as Roy puts it.
However, Aloysius realizes that the gang isn't very good at telling nursery rhymes, since every one has an innuendo or something meant for older audiences, causing Aloysius to threaten them to think of a good nursery rhyme or the next timeslot the following Saturday of a new Garfield and Friends episode will be taken up by an infomercial. With no option left, Orson decides to turn to the "dirty tricks department:" Roy. After writing a new nursery rhyme, Aloysius reads the nursery rhyme printed out by Roy which Aloysius notices has it end with him being pelted by a bunch of lemon meringue pies, and is chased out of the studio by Wade, Roy and Lanolin whilst being splatted by pies, marking his final appearance.
