History[]
Between the 1950's and 1960's, Alpha formed the organization MiB to monitor and police extraterrestrial activity on Earth and become its chief, and has recruited many other agents, including Kay, to the cause. As the first Chief of MiB, he showed the ways to Kay. However, as time passes by, a lust for power corrupts Alpha. This all culminates when he kills some Verulians to get his hands on the Cosmic Integrator, a device he himself has told Kay that he and the MiB outlawed its use on Earth for a thousand years. Offering Kay to join him, Kay refuses out of loyalty to the old principles Alpha has taught him, so Alpha coldly guns down to escape. Kay survives, having become cynical and humorless as a result of the traumatic experience, who then makes Alpha's corruption public to the MiB. Branded a traitor, Alpha was ousted from his own organization and Zed takes over his position as chief. Evading the MiB, Alpha travels across the cosmos to find the best alien parts before severing them off and using the Cosmic Integrator to graft them into his body against the aliens will. After these 20 years, Alpha came back, with only one thing in mind: revenge against the MiB and ensure no threats remain to his plans to overrule the entire universe.
Making his debut in "The Alpha Syndrome", Alpha returned to Earth, and stole a Sintillian Heart from an alien at a hotel. He stayed there disguised as a MIB Agent A that met Agent J, K's new partner, after telling Jay several things he asked him as he noticed he was K's partner if he was still Mr. Happy, which Jay commented as if A was being sarcastic. Having planted a selective memory projector, MiB soon catches on of his presence as Alpha wanted. Agent Kay and Jay go to confront him, finding him with the heart, who then reveals his new form and his plans for the heart. After this there is a long fight, Alpha shoots the heart before escaping. Alpha later breaks into MiB headquarters to kidnap the same Sintillian which he stole the heart, intending to use the other heart, before effortlessly escaping and alerting it to the MiB that he has left the building.
Kay meets Alpha alone, wanting it to be a confrontation only between them. Once again, Alpha is trying to get Kay to join him, again to no avail. Kay then attempts to release gas that would only kill him and Alpha by dissolving their lungs, while the Sintillian, on the other hand, can breathe through it. However, he is forced to relent when Jay and Elle arrive, unwilling to sacrifice their lives. Alpha takes Jay hostage, and Elle and Kay run away. While trying to get Jay to join him, Kay leaves as the Jay Alpha holds is a quick clone and melts, leaving behind a bomb. The distraction allows Kay to rescue the Sintillian before the bomb sets off, destroying the while building. Alpha then disappears, leaving the agents wondering about him.
In "The Heads You Lose Syndrome", Alpha was revealed to have survived the explosion but as a result of this, he was horribly weakened and his's alien attachments were falling apart as well. Meeting Jack Jeebs in his shop, Alpha threatens him to locate new replacement parts for him. After his attempt to steal a Gravalax arm failed, Jeebs informs Alpha about Troy the Symbiote and how its healing powers could be useful to him. After Jeebs gave MiB a "anonymous call" to set up Alpha's trap, Alpha then separated Jay and Troy from Kay. Alpha then split Troy from Jay and then made Troy join him, healing Alpha and his attachments to which Alpha escapes. Alpha was then called again by Jeebs about a special alien ship. When Alpha got there he inspected the ship to double-check, but found out that it was trap by Kay and Elle, who are waiting for him. Alpha then locked them in the ship before gluing Jeebs to it as well. Alpha then sends the ship to crash to Mount Rushmore. After the ship took off, Alpha then left, when he was confronted by Jay and Troy's mother., leading to a clash. Just as Alpha was about to finish them, Troy started to become one with Alpha. Troy's mother then joined with Alpha, leading to Alpha losing control of his body and the alien attachments are being healed to the point of growing of new bodies. As a result of this reaction, Alpha and his alien attachments then exploded, leaving the aliens to finally regain control of their bodies as separate beings. Jay then merges back with Troy and his mother to save them while the former alien attachments sought to catch Alpha and make him pay, only to find out that he has escaped. It is revealed Alpha cut off the arm of Mr. Gravalax and grafts it to his body as he restarts his quest, becoming much larger than before.
Alpha then returned in "The Quick Clone Syndrome", when Boba the Squat informed MiB something didn't belong, sending J and Kay. They then find an alien cocoon that Alpha was, who then gets out. Kay tried to neutralize Alpha, but was subdued by him. Jay then pulled out his noisy cricket, but was then revealed to be a quick clone. After it melted Alpha escaped, in actuality, a diversion so he can sneak in to pick up what remained of the quick clone. In his secret lair, Alpha used one of his alien offspring and mixed it with what he took to create his own more immune Jay clone. Alpha then dispatches the clone to retrieve "intelligence" from MiB. The rogue Jay quick clone returns with Zed's still alive brain in a jar. Alpha then begins accessing memories from Zed as a test, looking at his short term memory to get information about a painting containing the locations of all the alien missile sites in the universe to which he takes the jar to the museum to see that painting. Kay and Jay then arrived, to which Jay battled his rogue quick clone while Kay chases after Alpha. During their fight, Alpha almost dropped Zed brain jar. Fortunately, Jay was able to catch it, to which Alpha then cut Jay in half and tried to get Zed's brain. Jay was then revealed to be another quick clone, leading him to be surrounded by an army of them, forcing Alpha to escape once more.
In "The Blackguard Syndrome", Alpha employs Jeebs' brother, Dak Jeebs on his plan to hijack the MiB Blackguard Satellite, having taken its crew as hostage. Having ordered Dak to use its laser to destroy MiB headquarters and then use it for his conquest of Earth, however Dak overloads the lens. Having Dak contact his brother, Alpha reveals himself to ensure Jeebs come to space to deliver 5 lens. Agents Kay and Jay force Jeebs to take them with him, and Jay disguised as Jeebs meets Alpha and is sent to help Dak set up the lens. Alpha then enters Jeebs' ship and uncovers it was a sabotage plot. Exiting the satellite to face of Kay, however, Kay gets the upper hand and plants a bomb that explodes on Alpha, sending him down plummeting to earth.
In "The Cold Sweat Syndrome", Alpha revealed to have merged with the blob of Dak, and when they neared a satellite, the oxygen caused them to regenerate as one being when they entered, to which Alpha hijacks it to crash into Antarctica. When Agents Jay and Kay arrive to stop him, Alpha lures them to the satellite and use the remaining ship to blast them up to the sky and then send them crashing down to kill them to keep them away long enough to take control of the biotechnological ship called Taraxis trapped under the ice. Alpha uncovers and takes control of it and use its lasers t fire up and melt the ice caps, flooding half the planet, while ruling over what all is left and giving the ship enough of a push to conquer the galaxy. When Jay manages to jump on top of the ship's surface, Alpha separates Dak from him to fight Jay while Alpha deals with the worms who were trying to stop him. When Alpha gets rid of them, Kay grips the opportunity to shoot down the ship, encasing Alpha on ice.
In "The Out to Pasture Syndrome", Alpha resurfaces, escaping the ice and killing the sailor of a fishing boat to gain human parts, returning more powerful than ever. The MiB attempt to lure him to a trap but Alpha knew this and sends a hologram instead, defeating all the agents who come to capture him. However Jay beats him down and destroys destroys his ultimate body, leaving him as a frail old man. Having lost his power, Alpha demands to be finished off, but the MiB refused to do so and instead imprison Alpha for life as punishment for his crimes.
In "The Opening Gambit Syndrome", Alpha was asked by the MiB in desperation on how he stopped Vangus from destroying Earth 30 years ago upon Vangus' return. He provided Agent J of several clues regarding this and playing digital chess with him, but this was all part of a plan of manipulation Alpha used to hack into the security of his cell and unlocking it, enabling Alpha's escape and possessing cybernetic parts for his frail body, becoming a cyborg before reuniting with Vangus, revealed that Alpha stopped the invasion by striking a deal to delay it to provide Vangus the oil he desires. In the end, Vangus got caught by MiB, but Alpha still remains at large.
In the series finale, The Endgame Syndrome Alpha orchestrates for Vangus' escape and plots with him to take over the Earth for its oil supplies, all while trying his best to steer Vangus away for needlessly destroying Earth and leaving a populace for him to rule afterwards. Due to the threat of this takeover and the destruction of the United Nations building, the MIB were forced to reveal themselves to the world in order for the governments and their alien allies a good chance to fight back against this. Alpha due to using the Cosmic Integrator to the max, Alpha doesn't even resemble his former human self and now a massive alien and robot hybrid. In the final battle, Jay and Kay infiltrate into Vangus' mother-ship, but are captured. Out of frustration of the conquest of Earth taking more time than expected, Vangus elects to simply destroy it and plunder its oil resources. Being against this as he wants to have a populace to rule, Alpha and Vangus fight but Vangus wins and launches a missile onto Earth.
Jay and Kay realize that they cannot stop the missile alone and need Alpha's help. Still wanting to rule the Earth, Alpha agrees to disarm the missile to save the Earth by making use of his cybernetic parts, pondering on what happens if the MiB are to be living under his rule. He climbs down to the missile, but as he works on disarming the it, it launches towards Earth with Alpha still on it. Realizing that it's too late, Alpha accepts the inevitable destruction Earth and himself. Fortunately, Jay and Kay shoot the missile just above the atmosphere causing its detonation that saves Earth at large and finally ending Alpha's threat for good.
