Eventually with the help Brad Jones, Kicker's father, Alpha Quintesson would recover his planets, and use Unicron's head as the sun of his planet. Alpha Quintesson's planets, along with Megatron dumping the energon he gathered for Unicron causes a rip in the fabric of space. Alpha Quintesson leave to go enter the rift regardless of the consquences and would live on to this mysterious universe. The Autobots would attempt to defend Alpha Quintesson's planets and his sun, but some of his planets and the sun itself was eradicated by Megatron when he planned to revive him whole. Alpha navigated Kicker in his last moments to a new planet, showcasing him the planet to represent the earth that Kicker once played as a child, and reminding him his planets are what gives his life meaning, and thanks Kicker for protecting them. The sun and Alpha Quintesson would be destroyed, and Unicron's revival caused the new Universe to blacken in darkness.

At the of the Energon War, Kicker and Ironhide complement one another accomplishing each others efforts, while staring into the new sun, as their future. However, Primus's plan would fail and the sun would turn into a black hole, swallowing the Quintesson Universe, including his planets, his homeworld, destroying the future Alpha Quintesson tried to recreate forever.
