The Alpha Shapeshifter is a supporting antagonist of season 6 of the horror show Supernatural. He is the son of Eve and the original and most powerful shapeshifter in the world.
He was portrayed by Mitch Pileggi, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Mark Sheppard.

His true form is unknown but as a shapeshifter he can look whoever he wants to.
Biography[]
Past[]
He is the original shapeshifter who was created by Eve, the mother of all monsters alongside his siblings the other Alpha monsters. His age is unknown but the legend of him and his descendants go more than thousands of years back. As humanity evolved all the shapeshifters learned to blend in so much that the majority thought they were just a myth.
Season 6[]
His first appearance was in the episode "Two and a Half Men", where he had ordered his shapeshifters to reproduce more shapeshifters. They have been getting humans pregnant by taking the appearance of their spouses. Now they are collecting the babies from the families. Sam and Dean Winchester saves one of the babies who name him Bobby John. As they hide on the Campell’s ground the Alpha Shapeshifter comes to get the baby. He gets in by having the shape of Samuel. He tells them that he knows the baby is there because he can feel him. He survives several gunshots and darts with tranquilizer, also he is not killed by a silver knife to his heart. He also kills Mark Campbell. It is possible for him to shapeshift within a few seconds and does not have to shed his skin. As he comes to the safe room, where Sam and Dean hide, he has the shape of Sam. He uses his super strength to tear off the door into the room. He pushes Sam out of the way. Then he takes the same shape as Dean and attacks him. He lifts him up in his throat and takes Bobby John from him. As he lets go Dean is passed out and then he leaves the room.
He was eventually kidnapped and killed by Crowley.
Powers and abilities[]
He possesses all standard powers and abilities as the regular shapeshifters but with infinitely more strength. He also possesses some powers no other shapeshifters have due to his Alpha status.
- Shapeshifting - He can take the form of anyone he wants to and in contrast to all his descendants he doesn’t have to literally shed his skin to change his appearance.
- Immortality - he could potentially live forever since he can only die from decapitation or iridium. He has been alive since Eve last was on the Earth and that is more than about 10.000 years ago. Unlike regular shapeshifters he can’t be killed by silver.
- Telepathic connection with other shapeshifters - Like all his siblings he has a telepathic connection to his respected species.
- Superhuman strength - he is incredibly more strong than all the other shapeshifters.
