Biography[]
Canaan Scenario[]
She lives in Canaan ‘s memory six years ago. At that time, Alphard, as a friend of Canaan's mentor Siam, Sadaqah, helped them on a mission to steal weapons from a train. However, she was revealed to be an arms dealer who tried to take possession of the weapon, the highly lethal UA virus, killing Siam in the process. Canaan and Alphard fought but were unable to prevent Alphard from using the helicopter to escape. This allows the two females to remember each other forever and confront each other for the rest of their lives.
Later, she planned a bomb attack in Chicago that killed Frank, the brother of CIA agent Jack Stanley. This made Stanley See Alphard as an enemy.
428 Shibuya Scramble accident[]
Alphard masterminded the kidnapping of Maria Osawa, the daughter of Okochi pharmaceutical researcher and virologist Kenji Osawa. Maria was injected with the UA virus to act as a walking source of the virus. In addition, Alphard ordered the leader of the criminal syndicate, Tariq Al-karawan, to demand a ransom from Shibuya police. But for unknown reasons, she massacred members of the syndicate.
To Police's surprise, however, the young Achi Endo pulled Hitomi Osawa, who was in charge of the ransom exchange, away as she was being pursued by a man with a cane.
Alphard then met Achi and Hitomi, claiming to be Maria's friend Canaan. And help them escape syndicate. When they meet again, she reveals to Achi and Hitomi why Canaan hates her (From Canaan's point of view, of course). And She think herself good at planning with uncertainty. Later, when Achi and Hitomi were involved in the explosion of the Blue Van, she quickly pulled Hitomi out to avoid death. However, she is actually taking this opportunity to take Hitomi's blood with the antivirals. A fainting Alphard was later discovered by Detective Shinya Kano and Stanley, who had come to Japan to investigate.
When Achi followed Hitomi's advice to visit his sister Suzune, who was hospitalized with a heart attack, he found Stanley talking to Alphard. However, Achi could not understand English and could not find out what they were talking about.
Meanwhile, Kano confronts his predecessor, Kyuzo Tateno, for kidnapping Maria. During the confrontation, Tateno explained that he was upset that Achi's father, Daisuke, had suffered Suzune's heart attack and decided to follow his plan and let Hitomi go into brain death so that he could have a heart transplant. But after saying all this, he was subdued by Alphard. Alphard explained her plot to Kano, which involved injecting the infected Hitomi with anti-viral drugs and extracting blood.
In the end, the people involved in all of this went to Endo electronics, because Alphard had Leland Palmer, who had been a college teacher for six months, pretend to be himself, and have them meet him at the Shibuya intersection at 7:00 p.m. to make the exchange. There were two paths: Alphard himself took Maria and Tateno to the lab of Okochi Pharmaceuticals, while Achi and Kano arrested Leland at the scene of the exchange.
When Alphard and the others finally made it to the lab, Stanley investigated Maria's abduction site and found out that the "Canaan” he had been with was a fake. He then called Tateno to alert him. This led to Stanley and Tateno confronting Alphard outside the gate when they finally arrived at the lab. On the other side, Achi and Kano manage to get Leland caught. However, Alphard tried to use the bomb to kill Leland, and everyone present. Although the bomb was found in Leland's briefcase, there was no time to disarm it. At this very Gattaca moment, a van with a broken-down dry ice machine passed by. Kano takes the machine down and uses it to freeze the bomb to disarm it. Maria, who had been given the antiviral, woke up, saw Alphard on surveillance, and confronted her. Alphard suggests that Canaan already "Killed” by her to provoke Maria into pointing a gun at her. If Maria shoots, Alphard takes the opportunity to shoot Maria. However, Osawa, who felt she had failed Maria, took a bullet for her, and Stanley subdued Alphard. Osawa was sent to hospital for treatment, life and death unknown. If Maria hadn't shot, Stanley's boss, Gordon, would have cleaned up the mess. Maria would have heard the phone call from Canaan, who had just arrived in Japan, and wept.
However, Gordon was revealed to be Alphard's collaborator and he released Alphard and took her to the airport to leave. In the story line where Maria doesn't shoot, Alphard is attacked by Canaan, and the story ends abruptly in their confrontation.
