Alva is a major antagonist in the 2022 action-adventure video game God of War Ragnarök, serving as the main boss of Alfheim. She is the Light Elf Queen, and the archenemy of Svartáljǫfurr.
Biography[]
As the Light Elf Queen, she led the attack against the Dark Elves for years, waging war against her rival Svartáljǫfurr. After his death at the hands of Kratos and Atreus, she took over control of the Temple of Light. When Kratos and Atreus returned years later, accompanied by Odin (disguised as Týr), she attacked them.
She expected a victory against the formidable former God of War, though Kratos demonstrated his true strength by defeating her with relative ease. After knocking her down, Kratos sliced her hand off, before using her own blade to stab her in the neck, ending the reign of the Light Elf Queen for good.
With both leader of the Light and Dark Elves killed, it is unknown what happened to the ongoing war between them afterwards.
Appearance[]
Alva wears white armour with yellow and blue robes, along with a helmet with gold etched into it. She dual wields two long elven blades, and likely uses magic to aid her in using them.
