“ | Heh, okay Luke. Um, I'm going to give you my business card. And if you remember anything, anything at all. Feel free to give me a call, okay? | „ |
~ Amanda in response to being asked how she got past Luke's gate. |
Amanda is the overarching antagonist of the third installment in Daniel Mullin's connecting game series, Inscryption. She is a representative of GameFuna who harasses Luke Carder over the course of the game in attempt to obtain his copy of their game, Inscryption.
Personality[]
Amanda has little screen time denoting her personality, but from what is shown in the game she comes off as eccentric and almost creepy, stalking Luke Carder and driving him insane in doing so. She is manipulative, and tries to lower Luke's guard by claiming things such as being a fan of his channel. At the end of the game, she reveals herself as the cold person she really is, unsympathetically shooting Luke Carder without hesitation once he witnesses the OLD_DATA.
Biography[]
Amanda is first seen in the transition to Act II, where Luke claims she has been stalking him. She stops by Luke Carder's house and waits at his door. The two engage in an awkward conversation which Luke records, as Amanda reveals she is a representative of GameFuna, and her boss gave her his location. She interrogates him on where the copy of Inscryption is, but he lies that he doesn't have it. Amanda seemingly plays along. She is asked how she got past Luke's fence despite it being locked, but ignores the question suspiciously enough. Instead, giving him her business card as she asks him to give her a call if anything comes up.
Once she leaves however, she continues to stalk Luke Carder, slowly driving him insane up until the finale where he tries to destroy his copy of Inscryption and call the cops after witnessing the OLD_DATA's contents. Amanda knocks at his door, as Luke answers it albeit angrily this time. However, his anger is soon interrupted as Amanda shoots him in the face without hesitation. Walking into his house to take back the OLD_DATA as the last thing scene before the credits is Luke's blood pooling up on the floor. For a split frame when Amanda shoots Luke, an antagonist from Daniel Mullin's game, The Hex, Sado, can be seen over Amanda's face, possibly hinting that she's either possessed or is Sado.
