Amane Momose is one of ten secondary protagonists in MILGRAM. She was the eighth prisoner within the prison, and the youngest, at twelve, only in sixth grade. She was a member of a cult that psychologically abused her and drove her to commit murder.
She was voiced by Tanaka Mikami.

Amane grew up in a cult that "punished" all who strayed from their teaching with brutal torture, including the children. She was horrifically abused, presumably by her mother, for most of her life. One day, Amane found a hurt cat and healed it with modern medicine, something her cult despised. She was spotted by a man and a little girl, who reported the incident to her mother. Furious, Amane's mother used a taser on Amane to punish her, and presumably killed the cat too to "undo" Amane's "mistake". Unable to keep going, Amane snapped, and ended up beating her mother to death with her umbrella. She ended up going to MILGRAM Prison despite her young age as the eighth prisoner.

Trial 1[]
Amane is placed within MILGRAM Prison to begin their experiments. She was interrogated by Es ("Apostle and Death"), but she refused to acknowledge the interrogation due to Es being late and not apologizing for it. Es reprimands her, saying that they're the guard and she's the prisoner, and she has no right to make demands of them. Amane responds to this by asking Es to apologize as themself instead of as the prison guard. Es is confused by this request, but ends up apologizing anyways. She introduces herself and reveals she's only a sixth grader, with Es being surprised by how calm she is in a place that would freak most people out. Amane says she's not scared because God is there to protect her. Es continues being confused, saying she doesn't look or act like a murderer, which Amane takes offense to, asking them why they're judging her based on looks and voice, and if children should be forgiven just because they're children. Es tries to argue against it, only for Amane to continue arguing with them, asking if what she thinks is irrelevant just because she's twelve. Es calls Amane annoying, and then proceeds to explain how they'll treat her like a murderer, leading to Amane's confusion, as she claims that she is not a murderer despite having killed someone, as she does not believe she did anything wrong. Es is only made more confused by this as Amane explains that she allows herself to be judged by "higher standards" instead of those of the law. Es asks what would happen if they gave her a verdict that didn't respond with these higher standards, and Amane claims she would "deny" it. The bell rings, indicating the time for the song extraction, and Amane tries to bid Es a kind farewell, only for Es to angrily restrain her claiming they aren't doing anything wrong because she claimed she was "not a child". They drag Amane away, into her first music video, "Magic", showing Amane's worldview and her religious devotion, alongside her abuse. She was voted guilty by a 51.66% majority.
