Amber is a minor antagonist in the Holmes Hospital chapter of the 2019 Roblox indie horror game, Horror Portals, originally appearing as the deutaragonist of Happy Birthday Isabella, she later turn into a mad mutated monster within Holmes Hospital.
She was the best friend of Isabella who went to the forest with her after an argument between her and her biological father broke out between the two during Isabella's birthday party, though it was later revealed that her and Isabella simply pranked them. However, she was later taken to the hospital to receive intensive care, as she got infected by some sort of mutation by Dr. Holmes, turning her into a mutated creature.
Appearance[]
In Holmes Hospital, Amber's appearance is the same as in Happy Birthday Isabella, but her pupils are gone and one of her arms mutated into a large, grey arm with long claws.
Biography[]
While the players were shopping in a mall, they get a call from a rabbit masked person, telling them that Amber has been taken to intensive care at Dr. Holmes's hospital. Initially thinking that it must be Amber pranking them again, they eventually decide to go there to find her, as it is unsure if it is an actual prank or not.
Once in her patient room, the players are greeted with a gruesome sight of Amber, now mutated into a creature with a large, clawed arm. There, she says the words "Birthday, Red, Hospital, Pain" before screaming in pain and disappearing from the room, breaking all the lights out in the hospital and leaving the players surrounded in darkness.
At that point, she will be hiding in the hospital. After Holmes' defeat, if the player decides to go back to the lower floor instead of searching his body, they will suddenly find themselves in the perspective of Amber, who speaks out the same "Birthday, Red, Hospital, Pain" words and asking Isabella to help her, only to meet two girls wandering the hospital, who she decides to friend, leading to an unknown fate.
Trivia[]
- Holmes Hospital is the only chapter where Amber is truly shown as hostile towards the players due to the mutation, as in Happy Birthday Isabella, she was only doing a reckless prank with Isabella the entire time.
- Similar to the Isabella doll in Happy Birthday Isabella, Amber only appears when you fail to pass through the lasers within the time limit or choose the wrong door leading to the rooftop, where she brutally murders the player with her large, mutated arm.
