Ambrosia is the main antagonist of the Samurai Shodown series.
Biography[]
Described as the Dark God of Makai, Ambrosia seeks to enter our world and spread chaos.
It tried to plunge the mortal world into discord but for this end it needs the Palenke and Tangil stones, which keep the gate to Makai sealed.
Abrosia made a deal with both Shiro Tokisada Amakusa and Mizuki Rashoujin, granting them eternal life in exchange for them opening the gate for his arrival.
Mizuki almost succeeds, but as she is defeated by the heroes her soul is banished back to Makai along with Ambrosia, who is unable to enter our world as the gate closes.
Also appears in the 2019 game as the one behind Shizuka Gozen.
