Ame-chan's mother is the overarching antagonist of the psychological horror video game Needy Streamer Overload. She is allegedly a major source of Ame-chan's trauma, contributing to her instability and mental illness symptoms and turning her into a deeply unsettled person. Under certain conditions on Day 15 of the game, Ame will confide in P-Chan about one of five incidents in her traumatic past, her mother being mentioned in four of them. Due to Ame's unreliable and self-contradictory nature, it is unclear how much about her mother is the truth.
Personality[]
She was either neglectful of Ame or stayed with her as a companion, or some mix of the two. She was violent during arguments with her husband. She was even willing to harm her daughter to make money.
Regardless, she still is on good enough terms with Ame for Ame to visit her with P-Chan.
Biography[]
When Ame was growing up, her family was very poor. In two different Day 15 messages, Ame makes contradictory statements: Her parents always ignored her and she was always alone at night; or her mother always stayed by her side.
According to a different message, Ame's mother and father would fight nearly every single day, with it even becoming violent with her mother attempting to throw a knife at her father. They got divorced but fought over custody of Ame. This made Ame scared of being at home.
Due to not having money, Ame's mother attempted to make money by making her own underage child do prostitution, prompting Ame to run away from home and couch surf among her friends.
Under certain conditions, on day 24, Ame takes P-Chan to visit her parents and get their blessing to marry P-Chan, recreating a childhood photo while she's at her childhood home with them. It is unknown how she interacted with her parents during this visit.
