Amemura's gang are minor antagonists in Nekogahara. They serve as Amemura Short's men to assist him in stealing Norachiyo's sword in order to sell it as catnip. They are his hand in assissting in a drug trade so Amemura can surpass his father's own catnip trade. They also served as Amemura's loyal friends that would eventually motivate the shogun to enact revenge on Norachiyo after he slaughtered them in cold blood.

Biography

At some point in the past, Amemura short banded the gang with his friends together in order to help him with a catnip trade so he can make the town subservient to his will. They would continue their scheme up until the events of Pompey Sass.

Eventually Norachiyo crossed paths with the gang as they saw his katana. While Norachiyo wasn't looking, Makisuke and Torizo stole it from him and toyed with it. When Norachiyo asked to get it back, Amemura taunted him and told him that he's going to sell the katana and turn it into catnip in order to continue his catnip trade. While Amemura was bragging about the trade, Makisuke and Torizo warned him that Norachiyo was close to him as the latter stole the catnip he was using and took it for himself. Eventually Norachiyo went high and went unhinged, seeing everyone as the image of the Red Warrior. Seeing Norachiyo as the threat he was, the gang attempted to kill him before he went out of control. Amemura tried to keep the katana away from him, however Norachiyo managed to unsheathe it and kill every member of Amemura's gang with the exception of Amemura himself. After Norachiyo saw everything back to normal again, he saw the bloody scene and decided to shrug it off and make his leave.

After seeing Norachiyo leave, Amemura Short grew angry over the fact that Norachiyo senselessly killed his friends. As a result, Shishiwaka offered to help him get revenge on the murderous feline as Amemura Short agreed to the plan to kill him.
