|~ The American Client on his motives.|
The unnamed American Client is a minor antagonist from the 2005 horror film Hostel. He is an American member of the Elite Hunting club, a torture club catering to rich sadists.
He was portrayed by Rick Hoffman.
Paxton Rodriguez comes across the American Client after escaping from the German Surgeon. The American Client doesn't realize that Paxton is actually an escaped victim, and goes on a rant about how he tortures people as a substitute for sex because it lost all meaning to him. He asks Paxton what methods he should use, deciding to "go old school" and make it slow. He then shows Paxton his Elite Hunting tattoo and demands he show him his, but is called away by an Elite Hunting bouncer telling him his session is ready. Paxton then tries to escape the facility, but is distracted when he hears someone screaming.
Paxton follows the screams and comes across the American Client torturing his friend Kana with a blowtorch. The American Client tells Paxton to get out, and Paxton shoots him dead using the German Surgeon's gun. He and Kana then escape the factory.
