Amo Empool is a major character in the 2022 dark fantasy manga series Gachiakuta and its 2025 anime adaptation series. She is a mysterious and eccentric girl who inhabited a tower in the desert known as the Desert No Man's Land, specifically in Penta. She was later abducted by a mysterious individual, who kept her in captivity with only water and no food.
After being rescued and treated by the Cleaners, she officially became a member of the group, serving in Team Front with Semiu Grier.
She is voiced by Kana Hanazawa in Japanese and by Celeste Perez in English.
Appearance[]
Amo is an attractive slim teenage girl. She has a slenderous build. She has long dark brown-colored hair with gradiant orange colors at each of her end of her hair. She wears a revealing attire. She has Corset piercing of orange colors tied at the upper part of her legs.
Personality[]
Amo is a complex individual, whose personality had been greatly affected over the years. Amo harbors a desire to be loved and enjoys talking with others on the topic, with her noting that she favors strong gentlemen. For the most part, she acts in a kind and friendly manner but has shown to be easily quick to anger when things don't go her way.
Her fixation for love stems from her rough upbringing, where she believed she found her first love when she was sold off to a trafficker she dubbed as Mister. Being young and naive at the time, Amo found herself in joy under his care. The isolation caused her to become emotionally unstable and develop poor social skills, as she found herself growing heavily attached the boots and their scent when they were given to her by the Angel. Even to this day, she keeps them as a memento of Mister, living in denial that her mother had sold her her off and gets easily upset when they're taken away from her.
After being taken in by the Cleaners, Amo has shown improvement in her overall mental health, as she has formed friendships with Rudo and Riyo. She has shown to have a close attachment for Rudo in particular, who in turn checks up on her to see how she's doing. That said, she is still prone to lashing out at others when she doesn't get what she wants, like how she did with Fu Orostor when she demanded that he brings her closer to Rudo and to Enjin, who she still has negative feelings towards, even after being rescued by him and his team.
