Anahori Doubler (アナホリダブラー Anahori Daburā, lit. Hole Moat Doubler) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 37. He is a reptile-like Doubler who went to search for the hidden treasure of Planet Hope on Earth and bring them all to Makuu.
He is voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. His human form is portrayed by late Hideyo Amamoto, who also played as Dr. Shinigami in Kamen Rider, Great Demon King Satan in Henshin Ninja Arashi, and Professor K in Seiun Kamen Machineman.
Biography[]
The Anahori Doubler was sent to Earth by Space Crime Organization Makuu to search for the hidden treasure of Planet Hope here. After watching Retsu bringing Princess Rirara of Planet Hope to the church to help heal her injuries, the Doubler reported back to Don Horror that Gavan is here with her. When the Doubler and the Crushers were attempt to capture Rirara to find out the treasure's whereabouts, Retsu managed to save her from their grasp before the former retreats away from him.
With the Father and the boy Ryota being held captive, the Doubler disguised himself as the archbishop of the church to manipulate Rirara into following him back to the church and held her captive along with both former, as well as suspecting that the human girl he encountered might be Princess Rirara in disguise. While he's outside playing with a bunny, the Doubler was being asked by Retsu if he knew the girl named Rirara, which he accepts by luring him into the trap. However, Retsu managed to see through the Doubler's tricks and escape from being fallen into his trap before he went to released Rirara, the Father and Ryota from being held captive. While fighting, Retsu was trapped by getting tied up by an explosive stalk before he almost fell down to a hole where he is almost being pulled down below the ground by the Doubler. Luckily, Retsu is able to transformed into Gavan and unleashed a Dimension Bomber on the Doubler while fighting.
After they're dragged into Makuu Space, both Gavan and the Doubler continued to fight as the former got blown up in body by a pair of bat bombs and ensnared by the latter's vine whip which he almost got killed. As the Doubler leads the fighters onto firing at him, Gavan had to call upon Dol and Gavion for a backup. Finally, Gavan finished off the Doubler with Gavan Dynamic.
