Ancient Leshen are Relicts first introduced in Monster Hunter: World.
Physiology[]
The Ancient Leshen's bigger antlers are the primary distinction between it and its younger counterpart. Like an aged tree, parts of its wood-like body are now covered in moss and tiny mushrooms.
Behavior and Abilities[]
In fact, the Ancient Leshen's aging only serves to increase his avarice and malice toward the forest's adversaries. They are frequently worshipped as forest deities in their native land in an attempt to calm it down; although it generally doesn't seem to mind being worshipped, there have been instances where it has descended to bestow blessings on people who value the forest.
Because of its improved control over the creatures it can call upon, it can now summon more Jagras and Revoltures at once, curse its enemies to make nearby monsters attack them, or bind a would-be hunter with roots so that its servants can kill the intruder without being caught.
